CHAPTER 63

"Did you miss me?" He taunted. 

Her body went limp and she would have collapsed if she didn't have the wall to support her. It was him! It was definitely him! 

"What? Are you afraid of facing me?" He chuckled. 

She was on the verge of breaking down but she knew that letting him know that his presence was getting to her was the worst thing she could do. So, she kept her stance. 

"If there is anyone who should be afraid of seeing the other, it should be you." She feigned nonchalance. All those years of faking confidence while facing business partners who intimidated her were beginning to pay off. 

"Is that so?" He leaned against the wall, looking down at her like she was an ant. "Well, you are right. I should watch out for knives."
