At the Fisher’s house, Loveth walked into the children’s room later that evening after returning from the academy.

“What are you guys doing?” she asked.

The triplets were sitting around and tapping at the screen of the tablet they each held vigorously.

“We are playing video games.” Jasmine responded, not looking up from her screen.

"Do you want anything?" Loveth asked them.

"No, Grandma," James shouted, excited by the game he was playing.

"What about ice cream? Do you want it?" Loveth asked again.

"Grandma, we had that earlier," Jayden replied.

“Okay,” Loveth drawled, staring at them in amusement.

They had looked like their mother was running away earlier, but here they were now, not looking at all bothered.

She stood there silently for a minute before deciding to leave them alone.

“Alright, I’ll be in my room if you need anything, okay? And you can call your aunt Billy too, okay?” Loveth told them.

“Okay, Grandma,” they chorused, still tapping away at their screen.
