Willow’s POV

My eyes fluttered open but I quickly shut them back tight. It was too bright. Disoriented, I struggled to understand where I was.

“Will?” a voice came from beside me. Venturing to open my eyes again, I saw Logan’s face. I slowly came to realize that I was in a hospital.

“What happened?” I whispered.

“You fainted,” Logan said. “During the intermission at the show. We called an ambulance and they brought you here.”

“The kids,” I said, trying to sit up.

“It’s okay,” he said, patting my hand. “Adonis and Jay stayed for the rest of the show. Then they brought the children home. Just try to relax.”

My mind spun. I’d fainted? Well that was embarrassing. But I was glad that the kids were able to finish the show, and that Adonis and Jay were both there for them.

Just then, a woman came into the room. “Hello,” she greeted us brightly. “I’m Dr. Smith. So, what’s been going on with you?”
