Chapter 21

"Sorry, Manager Joan."

"Please come in!" answered the manager Joan.

Carver turned to the man who had walked into Joan's manager's room. A slender woman in tight clothing that exposed her curves.

The woman stepped closer to Joan's manager, but her face was fixed on Carver, smiling charmingly.

"Manager Joan, today is your meeting day. Let's go to the meeting room, the client will be coming to this company soon."

"A meeting? Seriously, isn't Mr. Edward going to a meeting today, but why me?" asked Joan's manager.

"Mr. Edward had other agendas, so I was ordered by him to ask you to replace today's meeting," the woman replied.

In his seat, Carver looked away as the woman who had been talking to Joan's manager kept looking at him with a knowing smile.

"Are you Sir Edward Fletcher's son-in-law?"

Carver was almost taken aback when the question suddenly hurled from the hot woman. The woman's eyebrows rose as a sign of asking something that needed to be answered immediately.

"Y-yes, ma'am,"
