The Experimental Professor 3

She wasn’t expecting all that much when she walked in, knowing that the newer professors didn’t often have the furniture to have everything put away. In this office, though he did have the bookshelves lining one wall and a small loveseat off to the side, but there were probably about seventeen moving boxes worth of papers on the floor.

She knew as soon as she looked around that this is going to drive her neatness OCD into an overdrive. There was hardly any room for her to move into the office as it was. She was trying to figure out where to start.

She didn’t know how to tackle any of this. She was going to need a few minutes to figure this out as she looked at him as he stood there watching her.

Josh smiled slightly as he knew that his office was already in bad shape. He was impatient and hated boxes, but how he handled the situation rather badly when he emptied the boxes. It made him look like a slob.

He wasn’t one, though. He liked things in their place. However, sometimes his actions often got the worst result. The tiny woman who was looking around the room was taking everything in.

He wondered if she was silently judging him. He wouldn’t mind trying to figure that out later. She didn’t know where to start. Neither did he when it came to this room.

He hated it. He needed it picked up or at least started by the beginning of the school year. His class was new to the university but not to him. He wrote the classwork. That was spread out in front of him now. Five years of teaching the same course were spread around his office floor like a bad nightmare.

He looked over the woman again as she was lost in her own thoughts. She was tiny but well put together. The outfit she wore, though, was something he didn’t really think that was all that professional, but it was fine for a student. Her hair was pulled back into a pony tail. The color was hard to really tell what it was. It seemed to be different shades of many different colors.

Her skin was pale. It was almost flawless as well. Though he had just met the woman’s brother, Josh couldn’t see any resemblance between the two. She was a pocket Venus, and the man she called her brother was more toad-like. They did not seem like true siblings in any way.

Her body was slim but curvy in all the places that would garner the attention of any man. He had to wonder if she had someone waiting somewhere for her. She seemed to be a science nerd when she talked. She had a brain and one beautiful body to go with it.

Josh was taller than most men. He knew that as well. At close to six and a half feet, he often had to look down at other men. He had been advantaged in life, and he knew it as well. He never let that go to his head. It just made him want more in life.

His lighter hair and lighter eyes almost matched hers in color. He tried to work out a few times a week. Keeping weight on his lanker frame was hard enough, but he had built up a good amount of muscle as well. He had tried to bulk up, but that wasn’t the way to continue for him. He was finally comfortable in his own skin now.

Things were never going to black and white with either of them. She was still looking around the room and whispering things to herself about the things that she thought he might need. Though she was trying to be calm and quiet about it, he could still hear her. That was when he knew this was going to be fun for the both of them.

He was going to enjoy working with her. Even though he was highly aware of the fact, he was very attracted to her. He knew he was right from the start. The fact she had stood up for herself from the toad that is her brother he also admired her. Not many people would have the balls to do that in front of a room of professors that worked for the other man. Josh didn’t care. He didn’t care that the man would be here in a few hours when he heard that Josh had given his sister a chance to do something he wanted to block.

Josh really didn’t understand why anyone would get in the way of their sibling's success. She seemed to have thought this out though he only had the very basic concept of what he had agreed to do. The fact the man was trying to sabotage his sister while she was nothing more than a student told Josh that her brother was afraid of her. She was going to be something in the future just for that reason.

That was all took that Josh wanted to not only know her but to also let her know someone was willing to take a chance on her. It didn’t have to be her family who did support her. Josh knew how that felt.

He smiled and waited for her to come back to her senses as he looked at her while she was making mental plans to clean up the room. He was admiring the view as well.

Jasmine finished thinking and then really took a good look around the room. The floor had to be the first thing she tackled. She needed to clear the floor first so she could work on everything else. Though she had wished he had waited to empty all the boxes, she did understand that he had not planned on having a teacher's assistant probably. This was going to be a learning experience for the both of them.
