The car stopped moving. Katalina snapped from her thoughts.

She looked at the driver in the mirror. Their gazes met.

“We’re here,” he informed.

Katalina nodded. She picked up her handbag and glanced at her. She smiled. “What’s your name?”

“Ian.”

“Nice to meet you, Ian,” Katalina descended from the car. She waved goodbye at him before entering the company.

It was her nature to be kind. Even if her origins were dark, Katalina’s heart was pure.

As she entered the building, she was observing the workplace. Katalina can’t say anything negative about it.
