IVY’S POV“It’s time to go” I whisper to myself in my dark room. I had attended the crowning ceremony and marriage ceremony of Asher and Taika. Taika’s POV I return home late in he night after visiting Penelope. I tip toe into the room. My heart beats hard because I know Asher might know that I’m back.I grab the door and push it slowly. IVY’S POV“Oh goodness..” I sigh and place my hand on my chest. My Heart is pounding so loud and hard. “Who are you!?” Asher had growled at me, clenching his hand on my throat. He had already given me the beaten of my life, smashing me from one trunk to the other like some worthless fly.I had raised my head slowly and with the little strength remaining in me, I pushed and scratched him from his neck to his right shoulder. ASHER’S POVI run my hand on my face, brushing on the edges of my cheeks. I inhale and push out the air heavily. Standing up from the bed, I crack my knuckles and swipe my fingers into my hair. I think it’s evening time as the brightness of the sun is quite dim. I stand up from the bed and whine my waist. The first thing my eyes jams is the mask which I had dropped beside the bed when I impromptu slept off.I pick it up and slide my palm on it softly.
