IVY’S POV

“I still can’t believe that Taika just let us go without creating a fuss” I turn to Ma Trisha, looking perplexed and a little perturbed. She looks at me and shades a smile.

“I guess she was scared with me around. Maybe she is not that tough as you explained'' she chuckles but then That doesn't sit well with me. I know Taika and I know what she can do. “I don’t think so” I slim my brows and lull in my tracks. “ What do you mean?” She asks and also freezes her feet, gawking at me with bent brows and crumpled forehead.
