POV" Maddy? Madison? Hellooo earth to Maddy!" Nicky's voice finally snapped me out of my gaze and I quickly looked up at her.
"What?" She shrugged.
"Nothing, you were zoning out again and kept plunging your fork on that poor baked potato so I thought you were frozen or something."
I sighed out loud and leaned back on my seat while placing the plastic fork I was using, on the side of the lunch tray.
"I'm just thinking about how to get back at Jake." She rolled her eyes at me.
"Here we go again." She mumbled loud enough to hear.

Since Nicky has to work at Tom's every after school, she quickly jumped out of the car as soon as Jake parked in the open parking lot and then rushed inside the restaurant, while pulling her work uniform out of her school bag.Jake and I chuckled to ourselves while stepping out of the car and we stood beside it, watching people making their way inside while some just arrived."Toby and Mike are here."
