CHAPTER 47

When Stefan told me about Jacob’s philandering activities, I tried to be cool about it but I wasn’t that sophisticated. Deep inside, I was hurting and insulted, so I thought that Stefan’s offer to be friends with him wasn’t that bad after all. In the end, I agreed to his suggestions, and we made a deal.

The first thing we did as friends were to watch a movie together. He took me to the nearest movie theatre and honestly, I appreciated it so much. I have never been to the cinema with a man. Although my father used to take me to the cinema when I was in middle school, it wasn’t counted as a date.
