FATAL ROMANCE

    CHAPTER 6(A HEARTBREAKING BREAKUP)

Henry made a stop infront of her house after the long exhausting drive.

"Let's call it a night then"he said.

"No...you haven't actually been inside my house before.Now would be the right time".

"Are you sure about that?"he asked.

She nodded affirmatively.

He got down from his car and they both walked right in.

They got into the house which was very cozy with the lights off.She switched on the light.

"Welcome to my house and Make yourself comfortable"she said.

"Thanks. Your house is beautiful just like you"he complimented while sitting down.

"Thank you.So what can I offer you?".

"Nothing. I've already had so much to eat and drink".

"Okay"she sat a little bit far from him.

"And why are you at Los Angeles while I am seated here in New York?"he asked noticing the distance between them.

She laughed and drew close to him.

"Much better".

"So tell me are you in a relationship?."He asked

"No I am not."

"You once were or you've never been?"he further asked.

"I have only dated one person in my life and it didn't end well for either of us".

"What happened?.He cheated?"

"Nope he didn't. Sex was the problem"she grinned.

"I don't get it. How is that supposed to be a problem?".

"I never agreed to have sex with him. I had phobia for it then."she implied.

"How?"confused at her statement.

"I have never had sex before. It doesn't trip me".

Henry couldn't believe his ears. A lady still being a virgin in this modern age. That was quite weird and shocking for him but he didn't doubt her.

"Are you serious?"he couldn't believe his ears.

"Let me go get you something to drink"she stood up to go get him a glass of wine.

"Wow"he muttered to himself.

Few hours later,at around 9am in the morning came Ken, Nina's boyfriend. Things have been going on the wrong spot lately for him and Nina,their relationship was taking a turn for the worst so he came to inquire from her what the problem is and what the solution could be.

Ding dong!the door bell rings. Nina opens the door and was surprised to see Ken at her door. It was almost like she wasn't expecting him.

"Can you at least let me in?"he reminded.

"Sure"she let him in.

"What are you doing here?"she asked.

"I'm here to see you.Or can't I see my girlfriend again?"he implied while comfortably sitting on the chair,Nina joins him too.

"What is it you want to talk about Ken?

"Aren't you happy to see me first?"

"Just go straight to the point. Enough with the pleasantries".she wasn't cut in for jokes or pleasantries.

"What is happening to us Nina?.What is happening to our relationship?.Is there anything that I have done wrong?.I don't know what it is that is making you act cold towards me,but whatever it is,I am really sorry. I want us to fix our relationship. I love you and can't live without you"he said with all manner of sincerity.

"Fix?.Fix what exactly?.Ken look it's obvious our relationship can no longer work. Our ship has sank.Can't you read the handwriting on the wall?.It is time to move on with your life.".She said.

"Move on with my life...wait...are you breaking up with me?

"You already know so stop stressing"

"Why?what have I done?"he asked almost tearing up.

"I am in love with another and he loves me too"she concluded.

Ken couldn't believe his ears and what she was saying. He couldn't believe that his girlfriend of 4 years was going to leave him for someone he doesn't even know. He stood up from his seat.

"Nina,you are crazy.How can you do this to me?.Did 4 years of being with you mean nothing to you?".

"We stayed as we could but now I feel like I am stuck. I want to move on with my life already. Don't you get it?.".

He stood there speechless,he tried so hard not to cry. He loved Nina do much and has made lots of sacrifices for her but there she was speaking words that he didn't expect her to say. All he could do was walk out.

"Don't regret this Nina".He left and banged the door hard.

"I wont".She said to herself.

"I love Henry. It is the both of us against the world. You need to be happy for me.Anyways I feel relieved now...I feel free."she said smiling at herself.

Henry spent the night at Jane's place,he slept very late in the midnight because of the tireless discussions he had with Jane. He lay on the couch while Jane bent over beside him watching him sleep.

"He is so handsome"she thought,trying to touch his face but then he woke up.

"Good morning"she greeted.

"Good morning"he smiled.

"I can't believe I slept over here. Hope I wasn't a burden to you?".

"No not at all. You slept very late and you ended up sleeping on the couch".

"Oh really. How late?"he asked.

"3am. You don't remember?".

"Probably because I had so much to drink."he paused to take a better look at her.

"Beautiful as always"he complimented.

"Thanks"she blushed.

"So what would you have me prepare for you for breakfast?".

"Breakfast?.No I have to hurry home now. Thank you for your generosity".he picked up his shirt and wore it.

Jane couldn't help but admire his fine looking chest,broad shoulders and muscles. He was indeed a handsome looking man with a magnificent physique. She didn't want to look stupid so she turned her face away immediately.

"Thank you so much"he helped her to her feet.

"So what are you up to today?"she asked.

"Alot.Mostly work but I promise to see you soon"he gave her a peck on her cheek.

"See you later beautiful"he smiled at her and left.

Jane bid him goodbye and watched him leave through her window.bShe felt a certain kind of way when Henry was around her. She started recalling back to the dinner date,to the times he made her laugh,to all the little beautiful moments they've had so far. It seemed magical but real to her. She could only wish for more
