The city lights blurred past as the black SUV carried them home.Eryx sat beside him, quiet, fidgeting, like a storm raging behind his calm mask. Lior leaned back, golden eyes scanning the street from the tinted windows. His guards drove silently, alert, their presence a reminder: everything belonged to him—power, wealth, control.

“You’re… distracted,” Lior said finally, voice low, not a question. He didn’t need one.

Eryx forced a smile. “I’m fine.”

Lior’s wolf growled softly. Fine? you been like this since the party .His omega’s body was betraying him. Every tense muscle, every twitch of his hand screamed the opposite. Lior didn’t push—yet. He was patient. Alpha patience was always the first move.

By the time they arrived at Lior’s mansion, Eryx followed wordlessly. Lior’s presence was calm, commanding, safe. He dropped a hand on Kael’s shoulder—brief, warm, possessive—but Eryx barely noticed, already haunted by the memory of another.

When Lior finally fell asleep, after having the most intense sex curled like he always did, cum reeking, Eryx lay awake. Jaw tight, fists clenched, heart pounding.

Somewhere in the crowd at the party, he had seen him. The fated mate he could no longer ignore. The pull was sharp, unrelenting. Sleep didn’t come. Food didn’t taste right. Nothing did.

Eryx woke to the sunlight spilling across his room, but his mind wasn’t on the day ahead—it was on him. Him. That mate. The one he hadn’t stopped thinking about since the moment he found him. Even the memory of last night made his chest tighten in ways he didn’t fully understand yet. Every sound, every shadow seemed to echo with that presence.

He dragged himself out of bed, ignoring the stiffness in his muscles. Today, he had plans with his friends, but even as he showered and dressed, his thoughts kept circling back, relentless. How could someone just appear in your life and make everything else meaningless?

The restaurant was bustling when he arrived, his friends already seated, chatting over the latest gossip. Eryx forced himself into the conversation, nodding, laughing at the right moments. But his attention drifted again and again, scanning the entrance, scanning the room… he felt a scent, a pull he can't resist.

And then he saw him. Not the one he thought he’d be meeting—but Aren. Rich. Polished. Eyes sharp, like he was used to getting what he wanted. Even across the room, Kael felt the air shift. He knew this wasn’t just a casual encounter. Aren’s gaze locked onto him, unblinking.

Before Eryx could even react, Aren was there, smooth, confident, almost uncomfortably close. “I know,” Aren said, voice low, “we’re fated. And you… you’ll want me. Trust me.”

Eryx stiffened, instinctively stepping back, but Aren only smiled, a predatory calmness that made Kael’s stomach twist. Not forcing, he said. But… still trying.

Eryx couldn't deny the force he felt with Aren The next thing Kael knew, he was in Aren’s car, the city blurring past, surrounded by a silent, watchful presence. Guards—dozens of them—but somehow, Eryx mind compared them all to Lior’s. Lior’s presence, his way of commanding without shouting, even the security around him—it was different. Lior was better.

By the time they reached Aren’s house, Eryx heart was pounding in ways he hadn’t expected. The house was massive, every corner lined with more guards, more security, more opulence than he could name. But he noticed the subtle differences, the way Lior’s influence had always felt more… personal, protective, not just intimidating.

And then Aren moved closer, pressing against him—not harshly, but with an insistence that made Kael’s resolve tremble. “You can’t fight it,” Aren whispered, “not when it’s fate.”

I traced it with my eyes and it landed on a Slim omega. Rough hair. Cute,he was pushing his way through the crowd like he was in a rush to somewhere, Then it hit me again he was in heat but why was he scent strong some omegas here were in heat too to attract alphas , but him… his scent was stronger. I tried to ignore it but the pull I felt towards this omega was something else . I hadn’t felt a pull like this with anyone. Not even Eryx. The red-head omega beside me huffed. I tossed him a bundle of money. He scowled but left. I didn't care. I scanned the crowd. Looking for him with my eyes. I stood up pushing myself through the crowd looking for him but didn't see him. I checked the restroom hallway. Someone brushed past me. It was him. “Sorry,” the boy said with a slight discomfort. I looked at him. “It’s fin

lior pov 🌹 I stepped out of the car. The night air hit my face, cool and sharp. People were lined up to get in, but I barely noticed them. I walked straight to the entrance ignoring the queue. The bouncers saw me and just stepped aside. No words, they wouldn't dare stop me.I walked past like I owned the place—easy. Inside, the music was loud, bass thumping through the floor. I spotted Drew at the bar with some omega grinding their bodies on him not knowing he has a fated mate, leaning back like he was waiting for me. “Finally showing up,” he said, pulling himself from them, smirking. “Still sober? That omega of yours must’ve really left you shook.” I just shrugged. “Some things don’t change,” I said, already looking around. The VIP section was quieter, omegas moving around looking for alphas, serving drinks, keeping the alphas happy. Some were already down to fucking I could hear pleasure moans .I found a corner, just standing, keeping my face straight. Didn’t want anyone readi

kael pov🌹 I woke up feeling awful. My head was pounding, my mouth dry, and the sunlight slicing through my thin curtains didn’t help. I rolled over, staring at my messy room. Clothes on the floor, my bag tossed by the door, walls cracked in a way that made everything feel heavier. I groaned. “Great… just great.” I grabbed my phone. “Ah crap… I’m late.” Today was the test. “Kael! Come down for breakfast!” Mum yelled from downstairs. “I can’t! I’m late already!” I shouted back.Ever since Eryx left she has been acting like am her favourite son which is so weird and cringe. I threw myself out of bed, hopped into the shower, letting cold water shock me awake. I barely looked at myself in the mirror. My head was still spinning, my body still sore from last night's party . My first party—a stupid idea. I’d had way too much, wanting to break free of being that cute calm boy with an irresistible body ,and now my body was paying for it. I yanked on my rumpled school uniform

Author pov🌹 "Eryx" fingers fidgeted with the hem of his sleeve as Aren stepped closer, his gaze intense and unflinching. Every time Aren looked at him like that, my cheeks flamed, and his breath caught in his throat. He couldn't betray lior but the pull he felt with Aren was something else . “Eryx…” Aren’s voice was low, almost a purr, and the warmth in it made my knees wobble. “You don’t know how much I’ve wanted this—wanted you". since I saw you at the party . He swallowed hard, eyes darting away. “I… I—I don’t know what to say,” he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper. Aren reached out, brushing a stray strand of hair from his forehead. The touch lingered, and Kael shivered. “Then don’t say anything,” Aren said, leaning just close enough that my could feel the heat radiating off him. “Just feel me.” His heart pounded as Aren’s hand slid to rest gently over his. The gesture wasn’t forceful, but it spoke of desire, of yearning, of a need that Eryx had never felt bef

lior🌹 The doors of the mansion closed behind us I adjusted my cuffs as my men moved into position. “Eyes open,” i said calmly. As I hugged my arm around Eryx possessively like how any alpha with a very hot omega would do. “Yes, boss, one bodyguard replied. Eryx exhaled slowly. “Sometimes I forget how dangerous your life is.” I glanced at him. laughed, “That’s why you don’t live it alone.” Kael smiled faintly. I know uncomfortable he is but he has to start taking it in The party buzzed with music and quiet power. The moment we stepped inside, heads turned. “Is that Lior?” “At his age?" “He built all that before thirty." “That kind of wealth should take generations.” Jealousy dripped from every whisper. I heard the whispering but acted like I don care I carry all the attention at any event I go. A businessman approached, glass in hand. “ Lior. Still surprising people.” my lips curved slightly. “I prefer results over expectations.” The man chuckled
