Adria pov

I absolutely love Nyx's home, it's a work of art created by a master at his craft. I sit next to Nyx at his large opal inlaid wood dining table. He created a meal for us and it was delicious. I watched him clean with a flick of his wrist. He offered me wine and I graciously refused, I wasn't much of a drinker. He sat with his feet propped enjoying a glass with a grin on his face. He looked content and it made me content. I'm starting to believe our feelings are attached somehow. I felt a pain in my lower back from an old injury and his eyes fell on mine.

"Do you want me to fix it," he grins and I nod. He stood and asked me to show him where it hurt. I lifted the back of my shirt and said where the scar was. He placed his hands on my flesh and I felt warmth and the pain was gone. I watched him over my shoulder thanking him greatly. He stands and looks at me.

"May I give you a kiss," he mumbles softly. I looked into his eyes and saw hope shining deep within his gaze and nodd
