Chap_20. Keeping a Tab

When the traffic light turned green and the cars from behind honked startling them, their staring moment came to an end.

Eden pulled out her finger and freed her hand from his hold as well. As she covered the specific finger with her other hand, the heat spread all over her body.

It wasn't supposed to go down this way. She wasn't supposed to feel like this. Not with Damien at least. She kept reminding her in mind over and over all the way to her.

For Damien, he was getting frustrated with himself, not knowing why he was behaving that way. Both of them remained silent the rest of the drive, trying to get together their thoughts.

After almost half an hour, they reached their destination and Damien pulled up the car by the entrance of her place. He gave her a side glance, "Get out."

Not like Eden was expecting some good words from him before parting ways but as he took it into consideration to drop her home since it was late at night, he could as well behave not rude at the very lea
