2. Deal

It was an excited day for Raizadan, despite canceling his flight to India and came to Nigeria instead from London, his trip was not a waste after all. He had canceled his flight to India, so that he could come to Nigeria to sign an investment deal with an IT company. The whole purpose pushed through...he had accomplished his goal, it was such an easy deal for him...though he was used to investing in big companies and signing contracts here and there. This time it felt a bit different, he had no complains when he visited the companies  branches across the country.

Rai was quite a meticulous kind of person. There was not an error he would not be able to spot out. Not even a slightest detail could escape his sight. His meticulous personality made his employees found him strict, he earned the nick-name 'Mr. Snoopy". His ability to snoop out the truth and any mischievousness earned him the name. He sometimes would prey into his employees private life that might affect his hospital.

Apart from investing in successful business and global IT industries, Rai had managed to take his own hospital global. Being known as one of the best hospital in the world, Rai attracted big time investors himself. His personality gave him away, his looks preceded him, he was one who always had a proud look on his face.

As a neurosurgeon, Rai had emerged as the director of medical research foundation worldwide (MRFW), a position that gained him a place as one of the youngest billionaire worldwide.

He had been in Nigeria for three days, and  was ready to fly out. Rai kept the investment papers on his suitcase and noticed another papers on the table beside the bed in his hotel room. He picked it up to read, he had forgotten what the paper was about. He read it and realised it was the pharmaceutical contracts deal that was sent to him for his approval.

Rai had a branch of his hospital at Lagos state, Nigeria. He had opt in for a contract with Laxerm Pharmaceuticals one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, owned by Deepika Agarwal, his friend back then at Medical School. He needed the contract with her pharmaceutical company, so they could directly supply drugs to his hospital. The contract meant a lot to him, he was glad she took no time to respond to him. He knew someday he would have to return the favour. She was crushing on him, and wouldn't refuse him anything, but the price for this deal she had yet to ask from him.

Rai signed at the thought of it, he thought to himself that whatever she would ask of him will in no way be greater than providing good health care for Africans.

He held the papers on his hand and set out for the airport.

On getting to the airport, Rai hurried in. He checked the time on his phone and he was half an hour late. He got to the flight attendant but there was a long queue. When he saw an employee walked close to where he was standing, he tipped off the employee so he could skip the queue.

The employee lend him passed the long queue, straight to the front of the line. When he got to the flight attendant he showed her his ticket that he had booked online...

"Here is my booking code" Rai said to her in a soft tone.

"You were  suppose to be here two hours before the boarding time, but now you are half an hour late." The flight attendant said to him as she glared at him.

"I was caught up with something important." Rai responded to her.

"You must be lucky though." She said to him

"Why so?" He asked

"All  flight had been delayed sir." She responded to him

"Is that so?" Rai said as he glanced around, then he continued

"May I ask why?"

"I don't know, been sitting here all day. you can confirm from the information panel. Just walk straight ahead." She replied him.

"Alright thank you." He said to her as he walked away, looking straight ahead of him.

Rai was not happy with the delay in his flight. He was hoping to get on board immediately he reached the airport. He had been in Nigeria for three days already, and he was still not used to the heat, even though the airport was air conditioned beads of sweats still formed on his forehead.

He got to the information panel, and saw the red lettered sprung out in the screen of the information panel, he saw his flight had been delayed for three hours.

"Three hours" Rai muttered to himself frowning.

He sat at a long bench he found, he could not believed he would have to stay in the airport for three more hours. Going back to the hotel was not an option for him as he could end up being stuck in Lagos terrible traffic.

He checked his phone for any missed calls, there was only one, and that was from his mother. Rai missed his mother a lot, he had been away from India for three years, and those time he was away, he missed her meals, sometimes he would closed his eyes and tried to savour the taste of her puri and flat bread...

Despite being in London for three years he had not gotten used to the western type of food. He had his high school in Los Angeles, but his mother never ones failed to always feed him India's top notched meals. Rai felt blessed. He came from a family that loved and respected each other. He was the youngest son but the respect they had for each other made him felt like they were friends with same age.

As he kept staring at his phone, a message popped up.

"Hope you are good." It was a message from his girlfriend.

Different thoughts ran through his mind, he thought of how best he would reply the message, he had a million things to tell her, but telling her he was on his way back was not part of it.

He wanted to surprise her, and his family. He never told anyone he was on his way back, he hid it from his friends too.

As Rai thoughts of possible replies to his girlfriend message, he thought he would grab a coffee first. He stood up and walked straight up to a coffee stand he saw at the far right corner ahead of him.

When he got there, he joined the queue, he glanced around and saw a woman, she was holding her luggage and was bent on her knees, he wondered if she was in that time of the month, were ladies often get their period. He watched her as she stood up, he noticed how dishevelled she looked. He kept staring at her then a deep voice interrupted his thoughts..

"What do you want sir." Said a man with a deep voice to him.

Rai snapped out of his thoughts as he turned around to the man who was selling the coffee.

"Coffee please." He said to him.

The man served him, and then Rai swiped his credit card to pay for the coffee. He left the coffee stand, and he found himself looking around for the woman. He then saw her sitting on the passengers seat, where they waited to board their flight. He noticed an empty seat behind her, he thought he would sit there and tried to figure out why someone would come to the airport looking all messed up.

Just then as he was walking his phone beeped again, it was another message from his girlfriend, he was still in motion while he tried to slide his phone to read the message. He suddenly felt a hard kick on his foot, before he raised his head up, he saw a woman whom was going to fall on her face on the ground. He hurled the papers and coffee on his hand and he caught the woman.

He held her tightly by her tiny waist, his coffee spilled on his suit, his blue expensive suit became a mess, but he didn't seem to care. He swing the woman around, so he could have a proper look at her. She fitted right in his arms. She was tiny, and curvy, her hips was wide. her belly supper flat, she had a medium sized boobs, a lot bigger than a cup size, but was of the perfect size.

He looked at her, and noticed she was the same woman he was staring at. He was lost in her eyes, her dark eyes, and oval shaped face, with her light brown skin, made her looked pretty even in such a messed up state.

He kept looking at her and felt her hand grabbed him by his chest, she helped herself up while her eyes was still fixed in his. 'Such a beauty' he thought to himself when he then heard her voice...

"I'm sorry, I'm really really sorry." The woman said to him. Her voice melted his heart, there was something about her that made him felt free and empty.

He suddenly felt her hand all over him as she tried to clean his suit, he quickly snapped out of his thoughts, and tried to get away from her....he kept taking few steps backwards but she kept moving forward to him as she was trying to clean the coffee off his suit. She suddenly stopped and set off to walk away, she repeatedly kept saying

"I'm really sorry." As she walked off.

Rai looked at his suit, realised that the woman had done more harm than good, he scoffed, then he picked up his papers. When he bent down to pick it up, he looked at the woman as she walked toward the coffee stand. There was a glimmer of affection in his eyes but was quickly change when he saw his coffee sprewed all over the floor.

"Just great" Rai said as he walked off. He went straight to the wash room to try and get the stain off his suit.

He removed his jacket, and he washed his face. He tried to remove the stain on his trousers with a  wet handkerchief. After he was done, he remembered his girlfriend. He took out his phone to reply her message.

"I'm good." After all the words he had thought off, that was the reply he was able to give, the woman he bumped into had changed his mood. He felt sorry for her, seeing her eyes red, and gloomy, he kept wondering what must have been wrong with her.

He knew he would not be able to see her again, there was over a million people at the airport. The probability of seeing her was less than one percent.

He realised took quite a long time at the washroom. When he got out, he checked his phone for the time, and it was already his time to board his flight.
