Olivia’s POV
The wind blew in my air as I looked up at the older, handsome man towering over me as he cupped my cheek in his large palm. Out of nowhere, I demanded that he kiss me and after a look of surprise flashed across his face, Sam’s face softened as his thin lips curved into a smile.
Tilting my head up toward his face, he slowly lowered his lips onto mine and I gulped in anticipation. However, just when his lips grazed on mine, the door of the rooftop opened and a couple of people appeared with cigarettes in their hands.
The sound of glass shattering filled my soul as I felt the moment disappear. All of a sudden, I was aware of what I had asked him to do and what was about to happen. Clearing my throat, I squirmed uncomfortably and Sam’s hands dropped from my face before he stepped away.
