Chapter 63- A Cruel Fate

Vera's POV

It's been a week already since that incident happened. I just stayed at home because my brother won't allow me to go out. I still feel the morning sickness due to my situation, and I couldn't help but to get pity for myself.

If I could only turn back the times, when my life was still peaceful. I was contented then, but since I met Royce, everything turned upside down.

I hate him! And I will continue to resent him for as long as I live!

There was a sudden pulse in my stomach. "Baby, I know you are just listening. I'm sorry that I hate your dad, but it's not the way I feel for you, because you're the best gift, God has given to me. So please hold on, until I see you. I love you, my little angel."

Tears started to form in my eyes. I tilted my head up slightly to prevent them from falling. I don't want to cry anymore because it may affect the baby inside my womb. But it's really hard and it's totally breaking my heart.
