Chapter 98- Overwhelming Joy

Vera's POV

I finally had in front of me, the woman whom I wanted to see after long years of being separated. When I first glanced at her, she looked like an older version of me, but after a while, I could say that I only inherited half of her facial features while I got the other half from my father.

No words were spoken. Our eyes were just laid on each other truly appalled by this surreal encounter.
