Chapter 70: "I am still your Mr. butler!"

A smile creeps onto Itzel's face as she watches her mother sleep on the bed peacefully with a hint of a smile on her own face. She looks happy, contented even in her sleep. Looking at the wall clock, Itzel lets out a long breath. It is now three in the afternoon. She has been here for the last two hours. But it is all worth it after all. She has managed to pull her mother out from self hate and guilt to some extent. Well, it was quite difficult to convince her that she had not murdered Mr. Singh but at least she told her that she does not hate her for killing him. And, that worked pretty well for them. Seems like Anu is not sad and guilty because she thinks that she had killed Mr. Singh but because she thinks that now her daughter would hate her for killing her father.

After talking with her mother and then feeding her some healty porridge lovingly and tucking her to bed, Itzel kisses her on her forehead one last time and heads out of the room to go out.
