Chapter 72: "They took her!"

All the curses and badmouthing which her father had thrown her way after she had gotten into that horrible accident, are still so fresh in her head! He never once did think how all of these would affect Itzel. What really mattered to him is how he would manage to get her into a marriage again! In these two years, Mr. Singh had tried everything in his power, had consulted every other doctor and specialist to find a way to reverse her, well, 'condition', as he liked to call it. But none of it worked in his favor. How could it have, anyway? Itzel simply does not possess a uterus anymore! The only options for her to have a child, if she ever wants one, is either to have a surrogate or to adopt. Though she does not have any problem with adopting a child in the future, she is not quite sure about it. Like every other woman in this world, even Itzel wanted to have her a child of her own, to get to feel everything that a pregnant woman feels! But alas! She does not have that privilege anymore
