Blake looked up from his desk where he was signing business documents.

“Yes, I’ve called you here for a very important reason.” Blake sat forward at his desk with his hands steepled in front of him. “As you are aware by now, we have a new member in the pack, Amelia. I’m not sure if you know her story?”

“Yes, Alpha. I heard that she’d been bitten by a Rogue while out at the stream in the forest. How scary that must have been for her. I know that she feels all alone and seems to keep away from everyone else except her mother, Jax, and Catherine, one of our Salutaries which she’s befriended.” Chloe made it her mission to always know what was going on in the pack and who was locking heads with who.
