Daisy

I woke up in the morning feeling refreshed. The last few hours have been embarrassingly hectic. Today is a new day and my chance to start afresh.

I hadn’t dropped that thought when my door flung opened and Hope hurried in.

“Good morning Dee! I hope you had a sweet night.” She exclaimed, and then dived right into the bed beside me.

“Morning Hope, yes I did. Thanks for having me, I’m really having a nice time here.” I replied while she blushed hard.

“And you’re about to have so much more.”

“Come with me!” She exclaimed as she got off and started pulling me out too.

“Wait! I haven’t even freshened up yet.” I let out but she wasn’t having it.

She dragged me over to the kitchen and, once again, I suddenly started to feel somehow when I saw him.

Tony was there in the kitchen making breakfast. He looked up and beamed with smiles once he saw us.

Hope ran over, and they shared a kiss which made my mouth water. I wasn't about to start embarrassing myself again, so I quickly shook off the thought and sat down.

“Daisy, good morning. How was your night? Wet?” Tony retorted while I instantly coughed.

“Oh my, sorry… I meant sweet? Was your night sweet?” he asked again.

He was obviously having fun teasing me, and I was damn well playing right into his hands.

“Yes, I did. Thanks for having me. Last night was so much fun, I can still remember how y…” he quickly cleared his throat loudly at that point and I stopped.

I had a smirk on my face that said ‘I see your tricks and I can play the game too’.

“It’s time for breakfast. Come help me set the table, Hope,” he said, facing her.

“You know what? Hold that thought. I need to share this sweet moment on my timeline. I, my dad, and my best friend. The two people that matter to me the most! Let me get my phone!” She exclaimed, and then dashed out of the kitchen.

We both looked in her direction till her steps faded up the stairs. I turned back and Tony was already serving my food.

“How do you like your sausage?” he asked while I leaned back, crossed my legs and stared straight in his eyes.

“Long, thick, maybe curved or not, but it has to come with the two balls.” I let out while he dropped the tray and had a wide grin.

“What the heck?” he exclaimed.

“Why are you pretending like last night was nothing? And don’t even think I didn’t catch on to how you felt last night. You were just as smitten as I was!” I added firmly while he burst into laughter.

I was so mad to my bones when he wouldn’t stop staring and laughing even more. He finally stopped and leaned forward. This time, I made sure to control myself and stop myself from falling into his trap again.

“You’re making it too obvious that you want me,” he simply said, and that immediately crushed my defense.

I found myself scoffing and stuttering. I couldn’t make a straight sentence anymore,

“What? That… that’s… a… lie! I don’t…”

“Want me? Really?” He finished the sentence and I nodded.

“I know of a girl. She met her crush years back at a club and fell in love with him instantly. She secretly followed him that night and saw him making out wildly with another girl. She ran away but, unknown to her, the man saw her. He saw the intense craving in her eyes. That girl is sitting in front of him now, and he can still see the craving. It’s still there and even more now.”

I watched with shock as the words flowed seamlessly out of his mouth. When he said the last part, I almost choked on my own tongue.

I never thought he saw me that night or that he would even remember four years later. I couldn’t do anything to defend myself though.

Hope was back in the kitchen, and I just had to pretend everything was okay.

It was so difficult though, he was sitting right in front of me, and it got awkward with each passing second.

I tried to rush my food, but that wasn’t easy too as my belly couldn't take the rush. Thankfully, he finished quite quickly and left for work. He kissed Hope and waved me goodbye, but I couldn’t even bring myself to look at him.

I was so disorganized and couldn’t think straight. Hope talked to me the whole time, and it just made things worse. I wanted to be the one talking and offloading my burdened heart. But how do I tell her that the mystery man I once told her about was her dad, and he’s now my worst distraction? She’d literally kill me.

I was still finding a way to escape her chatter when my phone rang. It was Perry, my boyfriend.

“Be right back, babe. I need to take this. It’s Perry!” I said, and then disappeared into my room.

“Hey baby…” I squirmed sweetly, but the silence that followed got me worried.

I went from being happy to being heartbroken. Perry wasn’t calling to check up on me. He was calling to break up with me.

“I’m so sorry, it’s not you. I want to explore more. I’ve told you, but it seems you’re not interested in my satisfaction. I wish you well, babe.” He said, and then hung up.

Perry and I met in college and started dating a year later. It’s been six months, and I’ve caught him cheating over five times. He apologized the first time, but after then, he got bolder each time I caught him until he finally asked for an open relationship. His reason was that he wanted to explore more and being exclusive wasn’t doing it for him. I refused and he dropped it. Or maybe I thought he did. Apparently, he didn’t and now it’s over.

I stared blankly at his face that still lit up my phone screen. I wasn’t head over heels in love with him, but I tried to do right by him. I sacrificed my time, money and body, only to get my heart broken.

I didn’t know when tears started rolling down my cheeks. Hope entered then, and I quickly tried to clean up, but she already caught me.

“Oh my goodness, Dee. Why are you crying? What happened?” She rushed over and pulled me into a hug.

I told her about the breakup and she just rolled her eyes.

“I can’t believe you’re crying over that fool, Dee. He’s a loser and a cheat, and that kind of man doesn’t deserve you.” She let out. I wasn’t surprised she said that, she never liked Perry and always gave him an attitude.

“You know what? I know just the right thing to help you get over this.” She chimed in, and my eyes lit up instantly.

“There’s a pool party this evening, and we are going to get you a man there. That’s the way you get over a man, you get under another man. My friend is coming too. I will introduce you to him. He’s handsome and so sweet, you’re so going to forget that fool once you see him.” She let out.

I knew that was a bad idea. I don’t need a new man, but what’s bad in trying? Besides, it’s a welcome distraction and I plan to use it to get over not just Perry, but Tony too.

“Okay then,” I chimed in slowly.

“Yes baby! Now dress up, we’re going shopping!” she exclaimed.

“Why?” I quizzed.

“Uhm… because a lot of girls will be there, and we have to look our best. We’re walking into that party, looking like the queens that we are and stealing all the attention for ourselves. Even the girls are going to drool!” I know Hope well enough not to argue with her.

When it comes to looking good and turning heads, she comes first. We are definitely getting more attention than we bargained for tonight.

I dressed up, and she drove me to a fashion store. That was my first time in such a high-end luxurious store. Everything in there was pure perfection.

We tried on so many dresses, and she made sure we got every piece that looked good. When we were done, we made our hair and nails, and staring in the mirror, I could no longer recognize myself.

I looked so gorgeous that I could eat my face off.

“You know what? There’s still time. Want to pay a surprise visit to my dad’s office?” she asked.

I know I should have said no, but I couldn’t. Not when I looked so good and drop-dead gorgeous. I wanted him to see what he was missing. I wanted him to crave me too. One thing I realized last night was that he wants me just as much as I do. His ego just wouldn’t let him admit it. But I would taunt that craving out of him, have him beg for a piece of me, and I would then leave him hanging. Just like he did last night and every other time since I got here.

“Yeap, I want to.” I replied and Hope was so happy.

We drove off, and I wasn’t expecting less luxury. Though it was more than I thought. Everyone welcomed us warmly, and I could tell it wasn’t just because Hope was the boss’ daughter. They genuinely like her.

“Hey daddy!” Hope exclaimed as she pushed open the huge door and we went in.

Tony looked so uncomfortable like he was going to explode. He couldn’t even say a straight sentence. He just kept tapping the table while forcing a smile.

“Heyyy… ladies!” he exclaimed while Hope and I shared a glance and I knew she was about to ask. But then, we heard a sudden movement under the table just before a lady stood up.

She quickly adjusted her dress, and had a satisfied smirk on her face as she cleaned her lips. I didn’t need to be told. I knew exactly what had happened there.

“See you later, handsome…” the lady winked at him and then walked out.

JackI’d been waiting for the perfect moment to get some time alone with Daisy, but it had been so difficult since my mom wouldn’t stop doting on her. Even without saying anything, it felt like my first date with her. After trying to get her to go out with me to no avail, this was the next best thing to a date that I could get. And I’m not letting this chance slide away without getting my wish.As I sat there, watching as Sophie and Tony went back and forth, and my parents trying to settle things. I knew that was my cue. I looked over at Daisy and though she seemed interested in the drama, I could tell she couldn’t wait to get away from there. Before the tension became more intense that it already was, I beeped Daisy’s phone and she looked at me then.“Want to get out of here?” I whispered while she nodded. I turned to

  • Falling for my Billionaire Crush   No one is taking my man away from me!

DaisyI should’ve been excited. I really should’ve… this was supposed to be our first outing together. It was my first date with him, our way of being out there as lovers without anyone knowing.I had imagined how it would be, how we’d probably sit across each other and smile at each other in a way no one would figure we have been fucking each other silly. This was supposed to be our soft beginning but sitting next to him in the car now, none of that seemed true. The silence between us wasn’t soft. It was loud, awkward, and cold.Tony hadn’t said a single word since we got in the car and he zoomed off. His jaw was tense, hands gripped around the steering like the leather offended him. And no matter how many times I glanced at him, hoping he’d look my way, he didn’t.I knew he was still angry but he wouldn’t even let us talk about it. I’d tried to get his attention all day but he wouldn’t give me an audience. I stared out the window, chewing the inside of my cheek until I couldn’t tak

  • Falling for my Billionaire Crush   Time to decide!

Daisy It was Tony that stopped us when he came in. He was wearing a bright smile that immediately made me feel guilty like I was cheating on him even when I hadn’t made up my mind. “Well, what are you girls up to?” Tony asked casually, leaning against the doorframe. His voice was warm, almost teasing. “There’s a new spot in town. I was thinking of checking it out. You guys want to come along?” He asked, glancing at Hope, who practically glowed with excitement. I caught Tony’s look when it settled on me. It was sweet, admiring, hungry like I was his favorite treat.“Let’s go, we’re in.” Hope said before I could think. She grabbed my hand and gave it a little squeeze. “Come on, Daisy. A girls’ night out with a free chauffeur for us.” Tony laughed when she said this, and I did too.I wanted to say no as I would rather stay in bed and spend the night thinking about the huge decision in front of me. But then, I knew Hope wasn’t going to let me, and anymore delay would cause her to spill

  • Falling for my Billionaire Crush   Tit for Tat

Daisy “I don’t mix business with pleasure, but you make me want to bend my own rules and that’s rare for a man like me. So don’t overthink it, Daisy. Just ask yourself what you want.” Those words kept ringing in my head as I slowly made way outside. My car was waiting and for the life of me, I was expecting to see a regular car waiting for me. But of course, Liam wants me to go home in an expensive Jeep. The driver was waiting by the door and as soon as I got there, he opened the door, made sure I was comfortable inside before closing the door. He circled back to the front and hopped in.As the car started and we got on the road, those words started ringing again. It didn’t seem like Liam was making some sort of sick power move on me. He was gentle and kind with his words, and I could tell he was giving me a choice. I mean who in their right senses would say no to an easy contract of a multimillion dollar. Raine intentionally set me up for this, imagine her shock when she finds out

  • Falling for my Billionaire Crush   For you, I’ll bend my own rules!

DaisyI barely caught my breath as the elevator hummed back to life. My hair was a mess, my heart and body was still pounding from the way Tony had fucked me, and my legs were barely steady under me. If I didn’t have a meeting to catch, I’d have just gone straight home and wrap myself in that afterglow with him forever. But Raine, of course wasn’t going to let me enjoy my life if I try such. I tugged my dress down quickly, adjusted myself as best as I could, and peeked out of the elevator. I know it’s a hidden spot and no one uses it but still I was nervous. When I was sure the coast was clear and no one lingering in the hallway with suspicious eyes. I hurried out and made a beeline straight for the restroom.Once inside, I locked the door and leaned against it, breathing out loud. My reflection in the mirror stared back at me, flushed and messy but glowing. I looked… happy. I reached under my dress, it was still warm from Tony’s strokes. There was no time to fall apart in daydreams

  • Falling for my Billionaire Crush   Want more? Beg for it!

Daisy As I rushed toward Tony’s office, my mind spiraled with so many thoughts. What if the blackmailer had told him everything? What if someone sent him the photos or the videos they claimed they had? What if he was about to tell me that it was over… that we were a mistake… that I should pack up and leave?God, I couldn’t breathe…I barely made it past Raine without rolling my eyes. Once she saw me step into the office, she rose to her feet and stood guard like it was her personal kingdom, and I was some intruder coming to steal her throne. I knew walking toward Tony’s office would set her off, but what else was I supposed to do when he asked to see me?“Where do you think you’re going?” she snapped, stepping right in front of me.“Tony… Mr. Grenier asked me to come.” I replied, trying to stay calm. “And so? You don’t just show up at his door. You’re supposed to pass through me. I’m his assistant.”“I didn’t mean to…”“Are you daft or something? I said leave, Daisy,” she cut in, vo
