I don’t know what time it was when I opened my eyes but I knew exactly where I was. I could smell him and I knew I was curled up in Tony’s arms. His body was warm against mine, a quiet kind of strength wrapped around me, like a safety I hadn’t known I needed until it was there. My head was on his chest, his arm wrapped over my waist, and the slow rise and fall of his breathing calmed the noise in my head.

I stayed still for a while, hoping he wouldn't notice I was awake. I just wanted to stay like that and pretend, even if for a little longer, that this was something normal. That I belonged there.

I know right, how could I still be feeling like this about him after what happened at the office. I mean, he said it to my face that I mean nothing to him but then, he saved me last night. You don’t do that for people who mean nothing to you. Tony was lying and I will find out soon. I will make him admit that feeling he’s trying so hard to hide.
