Quinn's Point of View

I was rudely awoken the next morning by the fire alarm. I quickly jumped out of bed, noting that Nathan wasn't beside me and ran down to the kitchen. I could hear Nathan swearing as soon as I opened our bedroom door. I stepped into the kitchen and couldn't see Nathan for the smoke. I ran and opened the back door to let the smoke out before switching off the cooker, grabbing Nathan’s hand and pulling him outside as Summer and Noah stepped out.

“Are you trying to burn the house down? I asked.

He scratched the back of his neck, a move I recognise he does when he's embarrassed. Summer and Noah snickered in the background.

“I was trying to make you breakfast in bed before you left.” I literally swooned a little at his admission.
