As soon as she was done eating, Parker stacked up the plates before carrying them towards the kitchen.

‘’Thank you.’’ Amanda smiled.

Amanda giggled, watching him make his way towards the kitchen. While he was gone, she decided to stand on her feet and walk around but the wound on her knee stopped her from doing so.

The wound on her knee was still fresh like the day she got it. On the night of her kidnap, two days ago, she had thought that she wouldn’t survive that night. The fear she felt that night was nothing compared to what she had ever felt. It seemed like she was just counting down to the last days when she had to bid the earth goodbye. She had never expected it simply because she put a lot of trust on the bodyguards.
