Chapter 59

That night, Emily was so tired she slumped into her bed before her bed time. She left her mother in the living room watching a rerun of her favorite tv program.

Deep into the night, Emily had a weird dream. She felt herself being caressed and cared for in ways she didn’t believe was possible. Charlie was the face behind this and she felt herself loving this side of him. Gone was all the hostility and anger that seemed to always be around him. Charlie in her dreams was a completely different person.

With Charlie, she had never felt so free and loved and she wished this would continue. But all things had to come to an end. Emily woke up with a light frown on her face, she couldn’t quite believe that everything that happened was all in her dream. It was so real but it was all in her imagination.
