Chp 4 Pt. 1 Winter Solstice

These last two weeks have flew by me. Maliyah and I spend every other day with the dragons learning about our history and training to better control our powers. Maliyah got to meet some dragons her age and they typically take off flying playing tag. It’s nice to see her playing with kids her own age.

When we are not with the dragons we are spending time with the royal family. Maliyah trains with with Aspen as much as she can. She has gotten very good at protecting herself. She is looking forward to returning home to see if she can best Mark. Today we are training with the dragons again.

“Hello Katla how are you all doing this morning,” I ask.

“We are well thank you.” I transform into my dragon and tower over all the other dragons.

“It’s amazing. I’m quite fascinated with how you transform.”

“I do wish I was able to give you all that ability. You wouldn’t have to hide in fear anymore from the humans.”

Aspen said Ryuu visited him once. It’d be nice if I could speak with Ry
