He opens the door to the Bratva leader’s study without knocking and, in return, receives a scowl. Kieran knew how to piss Dimitri off without even doing much, and seeing Devyn’s amazement at the luxurious mansion; he was even more pissed off. Was she that easily impressed by his blood money?

“Fucking knock before you come into my office, asshole. Common courtesy.” Dimitri says as she shakes Kieran’s hand, and they both take their respective seats. “Apologies, your wife did say you were expecting me.” He replies with a shrug and hears Dimitri scoff at his words. “Now then, back to the business at hand. I have soldiers stationed outside the new leaders’ mansion in California. He happens to be Suarez’ eldest son, who did not agree with the way his father ran things. We have a meeting with him, and depending on our agreement and his mood, we can do this with minimal to no bloodshed.”
