Chapter 42

Roy slightly opened his eyes suddenly. He was already dozing off while Shaw was already asleep with his head on Roy's laps. He had just perceived a scent that smelled so familiar to him. The first thought that came to his mind was that of the seer because last time they met, it was after they had entered the hut that the seer appeared.

Roy opened his eyes and saw the woman in the hood, standing a little distance away from him and Shaw. Roy recognized her instantly since it was not their first time meeting. This time around, she seemed so calm with a long stick right on her hand. Roy was startled but he sat still, waiting for whatever the seer was going to do. The seer stared at him for a while. She could also remember his face vividly.

"You're here again but now you're different." She chuckled. "You're not the young boy, you seemed to be strong but fear still dominated you," She said and moved a step closer to him. Roy grunted and mused ready to attack if the seer should make a move
