Chapter 56

Cold breeze crushed through the bushes and the leaves tilted. Roy watched all alone by himself at the birds whimpering on the tree. He already told everyone to leave alone and let him be for a while. Since he was their leader and their Alpha, he understood that everyone in his pack was his responsibility but yet, was confused and in distress at the same time. He heard about the news of his Father few moments ago and no one could tell if his Mother was still alive.

He had recollections about his Father words to him. He reflected his thoughts and remembered a time after being punished by his Father for not having wake up in the morning to jog all around the pack. Roy sat down all by himself, looking at his cut as they slowly heal. At the time, Roy was able to heal himself using the technique his Father taught him. He could have healed himself to get rid of the pain but he choose not to. He groaned while he closed and opened his eyes.

He did not notice his Father watching him from afar.
