chapter 23: leave us alone

I've been indoor ever since Austin and I found out about our secret. I remembered passing out after he left and waking up a few hours later in the same spot.

My eyes were swollen from crying and my heart was heavy from grief. Not knowing what to do. I don't know if I should leave this pack and go far away and start afresh. Maybe go into the human world and raise my child there. I think that will be the best thing to do. Leaving all of these behind and changing my identity will be better. I hate being a werewolf and I hope Tiana goes quiet forever so that she wouldn't reveal my identity when I'm out there.

After what seemed like an eternity, the door to my room squeaked open and I peeped at whoever it was from where I lay.

It was a maid, she had her hair slicked back into a ponytail and I couldn't see her eyes. I just knew she was a maid, judging from the way she was dressed.

" It's time for dinner," she said, her voice was soft but I sensed hostility in them.

" You can leave the food
