Alexa spoke without thinking, but as soon as the words came out of her mouth a conviction seized her. She knew she could not let anyone else run the risk of accompanying a vampire. She did not know if any member of her pack would have enough willpower to not attack the vampire. It was also not known how long this journey would take.
