For one week, Enrique’s absence hangs in the air of the pack-house. I take the days to get to know some of the pack-house’s Omegas; I had lunch with Linda yesterday and a deep nice chat with my brother, Alejandro since he’s set to leave tomorrow.

Next tomorrow is his coronation and I haven’t heard a word from either of my parents, either they have chosen to ignore me, or they simply don’t care, I have no idea, still. Their rejection hurts. The only reason I am attending the coronation is to make sure Elva is okay, and besides, I care about my brother.

Today, Linda is giving me a tour of her art studio. We have gotten pretty close over the days, she tells me stories about her hometown and her love for music, and surprise! She’s working on a new art piece for me.
