After the library incident, Eon and I decided to come back home. I started living with him because I didn’t have much peace at home.

They still wouldn’t accept me as I was even after finding out that my mate was one of the higher-ups. Usually, they care about those kinds of stuff.

Eon told me that they informed him about what happened to me, but none of them reached out to ask if I was doing okay now.

I flinched when someone placed something cold on my cheeks, “Where is your head at right now, babe?”

Slowly, I gazed toward him and noticed that he was giving me some iced coffee, which I usually like.

I smiled before accepting it, “Just my family, they didn’t ask how was I doing after you spoke to them about my condition.”

“I know they live far away, but it wouldn’t hurt to text me, right?” I curiously asked, but he only looked at me.

“I love you, Oliver, but sorry if I will say this to you. I don’t want you to ever think about them again.” Eon firmly said.
