“T-These…these are my parent’s, right?” I curiously asked before turning to them from behind.

Eli nodded, it seemed like they were nervous now. Of course, they might be thinking it’s because they did this without my permission.

“A lot of things happened, and we didn’t know that after defeating the witch, most of the graves from our past generations disappeared with her.”

“For some reason, probably because your parents weren’t part of the family yet, your parent’s grave was the only thing that didn’t disappear,” Eli explained.

“We were afraid that your parent's grave might disappear too, so we moved it here.” Ethan played with his fingers, “Since they were all bones, we cremated them.”

I closed my eyes with what I was hearing from them, “Are you mad at us? We are so sorry about this.”

“We are so sorry that we didn’t tell you anything about this, we were all so busy that time when we found out.”

I kept hearing their apologies, but all I did was open my eyes before smil
