MAEVE’S POV

My eyes fluttered open and I sat up slowly. There was no one in the room and my head throbbed a bit. I guess it was the alcohol from last night. I was so carried away that I didn't know I was drinking much.

I walked to the bathroom to pee and came into the room but Alpha Zane still wasn't in sight. Where was he? I checked the time and found out it was just 6 am.

So where could he possibly be so early in the morning? I wanted to head out of Alpha Zane’s room to check for him when his door opened and my Mom rushed in.

Alpha Zane came seconds later, holding a glass of milk and my inhaler.

They paused when they saw me standing. They also looked startled to see me awake and I gave them a confused look.

“Darling, are you feeling okay this morning?” My Mom asked me with worry evident on her face.

“Am I not supposed to?” I asked them as my brows creased. They looked suspicious.

“You mean you don't remember what happened last night?” Alpha Zane asked me as he walked to our bed and
