Chapter 12

ZANE’S POV

A gentle breeze wafted the smoke into my nose, making me sneeze and jerk up into a sitting position on my bed only to meet four pairs of eyes anxiously looking at me.

Damien rushed to my side and placed the back of his palm on my head in a bid to check if I was burning up. I looked at everyone in my room, surprised that they were there.

Aradia held a bunch of dried leaves that smoke was coming out from which made me know that she was the one who blew the smoke to my nose. Alpha Kelvin stood in front of my bed with his hands folded across his chest looking relieved that I was up.

While our medical doctor stood beside me and marveled at how I woke up immediately the smoke was blown into my nose.

“ Thank the goddess you are awake. We were…. “ Damien wanted to continue talking but Aradia interrupted.

“ Thanks to me, not the goddess, “ Aradia said to Damien and glared making Damien correct himself.
