Camille's POV

Suddenly, I felt as if the air in the room had become heavy with tension. For what felt like an eternity, no one spoke. I felt disoriented, unsure of how to think or process my thoughts. I wanted to escape from these people who spoke as if they were stoic, assembling too many pieces into one small puzzle.

I moved backward toward the bed, away from those unfamiliar eyes watching my every move. Suddenly feeling unsteady on my feet, I sank onto the bed, put my head in my hands, and tried to replay every word in my mind, but it was too thick to penetrate.

Grandma Noa had told me countless stories before her death, and Vikron's was one of them. I had dismissed it as one of her tales, but I never spoke of it to her face. And after many years, that tale had become a reality—my reality. The traitor and banished alpha becomes what? My savior for just a few hours, and now a trap?

The sight of their reflection snapped me back to the present moment.

I knew she appeared unusually tall for a wolf—almost 6’4”—but what were the odds? We had a few individuals at Aston-Lakenheath who were like that. But a hybrid? What did she mean by her vision? Did Lycans even have visions? And if she had seen me, then why had she interrogated me?

How was he her alpha when she was a Lycan? Or had he...? I shook my head in my hands. None of it made any sense.

When I finally released my head, a wave of weariness washed over me. “I think I need to leave. This is all too much for me to handle,” I managed to say.

His sigh carried weight. “You can't understand everything right now.”

“But isn't that what I'm supposed to do? Understand everything?” I asked, casting him a menacing look, my left brow arched.

“I understand how you feel,” Skyla said, standing up with her hands stretched out, reaching for mine.

A fury churned within me. “Understand?”

I shrugged away. “Of course, you do,”—my sarcasm laden with resentment.

She pulled her hand back.

“And the part about you being a member...” I paused, dramatically gesturing in the air. “Forget that.”

“The part about you being the brother to Alpha Sigewuf—was that also something I didn't have to understand?” My voice was contemplative.

He remained silent, but I caught a glimpse of something before his facade returned: a muscle twitch in his face, causing his eyes to flicker. He had done that before when I told him about my marriage to Sigewuf.

I dramatically threw my head back and let out a loud sigh.

“I know you want to understand everything and feel trapped, but when I saw you in my vision, you looked desperate.” She tucked her hand into the small pocket of her jeans.

“The purpose of asking those questions was to determine if you knew why you were running away. I could tell you had thought about that,” she said, a self-satisfied smile appearing on her face.

“More reason I need to leave,” I said, grimacing at her.

“More reasons you should stay. He knows Sigewuf,” she replied, an unspoken weight to her words.

My lips pursed, and I pointed an accusing finger at her. “Now tell me—since you saw I needed help from whatever it was you saw, then I think you can also read my mind right now and realize I have no intention of being here.”

She narrowed her eyes. “Yes.”

If I was surprised, I made no effort to show it. “I'm done here, so let me go.”

“We can't do that,” she said pointedly, which clearly vexed me.

“Sigewuf was once my brother; no one knows him better than I do,” he said firmly.

“He'll come for you,” he added.

“What you know or do not know about Alpha Sigewuf is really none of my concern. I can handle him,” I said, turning toward the door.

Her grip was swift and firm. She stood in front of the door.

“You can't handle him alone,” he said, avoiding my gaze.

His hands, large with perfectly manicured nails, bore strange lines. I wondered if they were scars from different battles or if something special rested in between his legs. As he spoke, he momentarily lifted his hands to run through his hair.

When he spoke again, he did so with complete insouciance. “I don’t want to stop you or have you here either, but Skyla thinks you need our help.” He let out a heavy sigh. “Sigewuf is formidable, and you need support. You can’t avoid him by running away. He’ll find you.”

His mellow baritone wafted gently, evenly, across the room. “But if you choose to go, then you can. I don't want you here either.”

“Don't think about the last part,” Skyla whispered into my ear, squeezing my hand gently.

I stared at him, feeling raw and exposed—my thoughts chaotic, my emotions laid bare. “I don’t know. This doesn't feel right, and it doesn't make sense. I don't even know you guys!”

“Let’s help each other,” she said, glancing at Alpha Vikron.

"Everyone has a story. Vikron does too. I do. And you. Running away to wherever won't change anything. Running never solves anything,” she added, imploring.

“And whatever you are, we need your help too. So stay. This is the only thing that will draw Sigewuf to us.” There was a gentle plea lingering in her last words.

“The cursed brother seeks redemption, huh?” I said, not knowing what else to say.

He shot me a glare. “Maybe,” he replied.

I noticed a muscle twitch in his face, and I realized whatever had occurred was clearly a sore topic.

“So what should I do?” I asked, throwing my arms up. “I can't just sit back here waiting for Sigewuf to show up at your border.” Confusion mixed with anxiety churned inside me.

“There's one thing I think you can do while we wait for Sigewuf,” she said, her face suddenly set in a stone-like expression, void of the gentleness it had before.

I raised my eyebrow in the unspoken question.

“To avoid your marriage to Sigewuf, you’ll have to sign a different marriage contract.” Vikron's expression was inscrutable.

Alpha Loeka’s POVI knew everything would turn out this way. From the night of her disgraceful shifting ceremony I had sensed it.But I had done not hing about it. Conrad was right. It was my fault. If I had treated Camille like the other alpha's did to their wolfless children, keeping them in seclusion and making surethey were treated less than the omegas. But I had not done that. I had allowed her make her choices even after being a disgrace and one of those choices had brought the pack into this mess.Sigewuf had sent a letter. He had found her but he had made it clear it waa our duty to bring her back I stood outside the pack house with Sigewulf letter in hand as Devon and Conrad drove in in Conrad's sports car.Conrad was my prototype. Devon was a reflection of his mother, he was too weak. What he lacked in fierceness as a future alpha, cobtad had in fierceness and wit.“What's this I hear, father?” Conrad spoke first, as I knew he would.I sighed, “It's true Sigewuf found her

Camille's PovConrad had grown more muscular since I last saw him. I couod imagine the havoc the ladies in the pack were creating already just to be his.“What do you mean by that? And who the mountain raving fvck are you, anyway?” Conrad grimaced and screamed, pointing angry fingers at Vikron.“Conrad don't you dare raise your voice at him” I shouted back at him, disbelieving my own reaction and the level of rage I felt at Conrad“How dare you!” Mother's voice held her disapproval as she spokeThe slap was too fast, too sudden but it hit hard, leaving a drop of blood on my tongue.“How dare you speak to me that way, you piece of shit” Conrad sneered This was a family warBut I was done being like my mother, I slapped Conrad back my wrist almost snapped and the pain jolted up my arm.But it wasn't my will to fight back that caused the drop dead silence, it was the bloodied face of Conrad.Alpha Vikron held him up, his hand curled up in a fist with streaks of flesh on it, the sound ma

  • Fated To The Rogue Alpha:Awakening Of The Rejected Tribrid    Strange Emotions

Camille's POV I was sitting at the edge of the red bed sheet on the bed. I was mortified, to say the least. Slave? The hell! Did I look like one to him? I had had the gut feeling from the onset that this was a bad decision, but I had gone ahead and signed the damn contract. Now what? I get to be called a slave? That was worse than living the life of an omega! The door to the queen-sized room opened slightly, with Skyla peering in, half-smiling. She walked in quietly, only breaking the silence when she tried to clear her throat. “Hey.” “Hey.” “Ehmm, about tonight, I think.." "Please, I do not want to hear it, Skyla. Not tonight," I snapped. "You have to listen to me, Camille" she said placing both hands on my cheeks, pulling my face to look into her eyes "I don't want to!" I said, moving away from her "Alpha Vikron didn't mean what he said in the woods. I think he has a good re…” I wasn't ready for Skyla's diplomatic sessions, not tonight. "Just stop. Stop already! Why do y

  • Fated To The Rogue Alpha:Awakening Of The Rejected Tribrid    Hello, little brother!

Vikron's POV Sigewuf's grip on Camille's hands was beginning to wear off. “Let her go now,” I ordered, using my alpha tone. I watched as his grip loosened around her hands. He was still in shock. I knew that, and I was glad I didn't shift fully into my wolf. Camille didn't bulge or try to join the other team members. She stood there at the spot where Sigewuf had let her go. If stares could kill, I knew she wanted hers to exterminate me without wasting a second. Her stare was burning; she was hurt. Skyla got the message and pulled her from the back to join the rest of the team. She hesitated for a few minutes and later joined the others behind. Women were A L O T. “Everyone head back to the mansion. Our work here tonight is done,” I told the team, but my gaze was on Sigewuf. I waited for everyone to leave, then I stepped closer until we could both feel each other's breath. I had so much to say to him. All the rage I had felt over the years, the hurt—I felt them deflecting as I s

  • Fated To The Rogue Alpha:Awakening Of The Rejected Tribrid    The Remeet

Vikron's POV We're going hunting tonight,” I announced after the pack meeting with the pack leaders, hunters, and warriors. Skylanders pack was a home for everyone. A place where everyone was important and added value. They knew they always went hunting, but the announcement was made because I was going to join them. It had already been weeks since I joined my pack hunters during a hunt. Since the night after we found Camille, Skyla had dedicated her time to taking her hunting along with her team, which was my team. I had avoided any physical meetings with Camille to prevent rumors in the pack. She acted brave and strong like a loner, but I had seen her many times just staring at me. I wasn't interested in anything emotional or physical, especially not with her. But tonight felt different. The need to hunt was like an urgency. It felt like a pull—a drug I needed to taste again. The pack members at the meeting were cheering as I nodded and made my way toward the study. “I'm happ

  • Fated To The Rogue Alpha:Awakening Of The Rejected Tribrid    The Meeting

Every district had cities. Cities were always crowded, always busy and bustling with activities. City life was crazy. I wondered how these humans ever survived. I sighed, adjusting the watch on my wrist. City life was crazy because humans were crazy. And living loud was their absolute normal, especially if you were in Vernice. The car drove past 6 9. A club three streets away from Ady's Creme Laude. Speakers blaring with nonsense these humans called songs. Werewolves would never be able to survive here. When I said werewolves, I meant millennials and not these rotten-spoiled, human attention-seeking, new generation breeds of werewolves. They even preferred going to schools mixed with humans. Even breeding sets of half-witted things that weren't full blood werewolves. I shook my head. Some things were repulsive to even think of. Vernice was a large city in the North. In fact, the biggest city in the North. The drive to Vernice was just three hours, but those three hours felt lik
