Camille’s POV

To avoid your marriage to Sigewuf, you'll have to sign a different marriage contract,” Vikron's expression was inscrutable as he spoke.

“A different marriage contract? To whom?” I asked, giving Skyla a cynical look.

Vikron, debonair as I already noticed him to be, sat in the same position, this time with his feet apart as he gently rubbed his chin, then tucked his hand into his pocket, maintaining eye contact with me for only a few seconds. “To me.”

I laughed humorlessly. “Oh, that’s where you’re mistaken!” I said, directing my most menacing look at him. “What is this? Some sort of joke to you?” I asked, allowing my anger to surface fully.

“First off, you had me drugged, dragged here, and subjected me to distressing questioning, trying to convince me that you had some kind of vision of me, only to end by asking me to marry you?” My nostrils flared as I felt the fiery annoyance rise within me. “You’re both crazy!” I sneered. “You know what? I’m actually leaving.” I darted toward the door, pulled the knob, and stepped outside.

I couldn't believe my ears. I wanted to go back and smash that wry smile off his lips. What the *fvck* did people really take me for?

For once, I hated to admit there had to be something that made people think I could be a pushover—someone to pass the order to, and she would shove it down. Father. Conrad. Mother. Sigewuf. Vikron. They were all the same.

The picture of Vikron as he spoke was etched in my mind, infuriating me more than I wanted. His audacity was loud. The *fvck*! I cussed into the air, wishing I had said it to his face instead.

If Sigewuf was annoying, Vikron was outrightly obnoxious!

I had no idea where I was, but I didn’t care. I bent down, fumbling with the lace of my boot when I heard the growl. Three large wolves emerged.

They couldn’t trick me into signing shit, now they choose to attack? I spat on the floor. Crazy freaks.

I pulled my hair roughly into a band. None of them looked like the wolf from last night, but I refused to think these wolves just appeared or that Vikron wasn’t one of them. The damn rogue would always be a rogue, alpha blood or not.

“You want the hard no, huh?” I screamed, hoping for no reason that one of them was Vikron, as I gave them a look that conveyed the full range of my anger, veins propped on my arm. “Come on,” I sneered, reaching into my pocket for my hand, but the dagger wasn’t there. Damn. I muttered curses under my breath.

“Looking for this?” Dr. Skyla’s voice came from behind.

I turned to see her holding up the dagger.

“Go on, boys; she’s with us,” she yelled out to the wolves. They turned, retreated into the woods, and vanished.

“I could have handled that myself,” I said, my hands shaking uncontrollably, feeling disappointed and more rageful that Vikron wasn’t one of the wolves.

“Of course, we could see that,” Alpha Vikron replied with a nonchalant half-shrug as he appeared from behind Skyla.

"Well, screw you and whatever you see,” I shot back, bending down to finish tying my lace.

“Let’s help you, Camille,” Dr. Skyla said smoothly.

My eyes flashed. “Fvck off. I don't need your help.”

“Your anger is a powerful tool, you know,” it was Vikron's voice. He had a contented smile on his face.

At Aston-Lakenheath, things didn’t get me this worked up or angry, but this man had a way of making my emotions climb over their limits. “Screw you,” I shot back, disdain dripping from my voice.

“I think you're having suppressed anger moments. You’ve bottled so much, haven’t you?” he mused, but there was something in his voice—an understanding of this kind of shared anger.

I had no idea when my arm left the lace of my shoe, missing Vikron's face by only an inch. My breathing was huffed.

“I’m not going to fight you,” he said, his arms crossed as a smile crooked his face.

It annoyed me.

I lurched again; my left leg gained contact with his side. I was about to throw the next punch when his arms, full of strength, pulled me by the neck, my back to his chest.

“I love this anger. But you don’t need it for me. Channel it to Sigewuf and your father. I’m not one to enslave anyone.”

A strange warmth, mixed with his scent, was beginning to douse the anger I was feeling. How could one person trigger me so badly and still weaken my defenses at the same time? I pulled away from his grip, but I had a feeling he also wanted to let me go.

I stood facing both of them.

“How does signing a marriage contract with you change anything?”

“It’s clear you didn’t say the mate oath with Sigewuf. That’s the difference. You’ll have to say it with me, and when all of this is over, we can break the mate bond.”

I knew this was stupid. Things could go south and then it might just be me, alone. But I stood there, held their gaze. “When do we sign the contract?”

Skyla smiled. “We could have the ceremony tonight.”

“Let’s get on with it,” I replied, walking past both of them back to the cottage.

“You’ll have to move in to the pack house,” Vikron called out.

I stopped in my tracks, half-turning to face them.

“Then why are you both behind me?” I croaked.

Alpha Vikron said nothing. He stood watching me, his head cocked slightly like he was in deep thought. Skyla smiled the way she had that morning, taking the lead as she held my hand.

“Welcome to the pack,” Vikron said, his voice almost a whisper, but I had heard him.

Turning back, he was gone. Like the wind, leaving behind only Vikron’s scent mixed with the smell of the woods behind.

I turned around, my hands clasped in Skyla’s. I had no idea what path of my life I was walking toward, but I was certain of one thing: there was no going back.

  • Fated To The Rogue Alpha:Awakening Of The Rejected Tribrid    Blood War

Alpha Loeka’s POVI knew everything would turn out this way. From the night of her disgraceful shifting ceremony I had sensed it.But I had done not hing about it. Conrad was right. It was my fault. If I had treated Camille like the other alpha's did to their wolfless children, keeping them in seclusion and making surethey were treated less than the omegas. But I had not done that. I had allowed her make her choices even after being a disgrace and one of those choices had brought the pack into this mess.Sigewuf had sent a letter. He had found her but he had made it clear it waa our duty to bring her back I stood outside the pack house with Sigewulf letter in hand as Devon and Conrad drove in in Conrad's sports car.Conrad was my prototype. Devon was a reflection of his mother, he was too weak. What he lacked in fierceness as a future alpha, cobtad had in fierceness and wit.“What's this I hear, father?” Conrad spoke first, as I knew he would.I sighed, “It's true Sigewuf found her

  • Fated To The Rogue Alpha:Awakening Of The Rejected Tribrid    Family War

Camille's PovConrad had grown more muscular since I last saw him. I couod imagine the havoc the ladies in the pack were creating already just to be his.“What do you mean by that? And who the mountain raving fvck are you, anyway?” Conrad grimaced and screamed, pointing angry fingers at Vikron.“Conrad don't you dare raise your voice at him” I shouted back at him, disbelieving my own reaction and the level of rage I felt at Conrad“How dare you!” Mother's voice held her disapproval as she spokeThe slap was too fast, too sudden but it hit hard, leaving a drop of blood on my tongue.“How dare you speak to me that way, you piece of shit” Conrad sneered This was a family warBut I was done being like my mother, I slapped Conrad back my wrist almost snapped and the pain jolted up my arm.But it wasn't my will to fight back that caused the drop dead silence, it was the bloodied face of Conrad.Alpha Vikron held him up, his hand curled up in a fist with streaks of flesh on it, the sound ma

  • Fated To The Rogue Alpha:Awakening Of The Rejected Tribrid    Strange Emotions

Camille's POV I was sitting at the edge of the red bed sheet on the bed. I was mortified, to say the least. Slave? The hell! Did I look like one to him? I had had the gut feeling from the onset that this was a bad decision, but I had gone ahead and signed the damn contract. Now what? I get to be called a slave? That was worse than living the life of an omega! The door to the queen-sized room opened slightly, with Skyla peering in, half-smiling. She walked in quietly, only breaking the silence when she tried to clear her throat. “Hey.” “Hey.” “Ehmm, about tonight, I think.." "Please, I do not want to hear it, Skyla. Not tonight," I snapped. "You have to listen to me, Camille" she said placing both hands on my cheeks, pulling my face to look into her eyes "I don't want to!" I said, moving away from her "Alpha Vikron didn't mean what he said in the woods. I think he has a good re…” I wasn't ready for Skyla's diplomatic sessions, not tonight. "Just stop. Stop already! Why do y

  • Fated To The Rogue Alpha:Awakening Of The Rejected Tribrid    Hello, little brother!

Vikron's POV Sigewuf's grip on Camille's hands was beginning to wear off. “Let her go now,” I ordered, using my alpha tone. I watched as his grip loosened around her hands. He was still in shock. I knew that, and I was glad I didn't shift fully into my wolf. Camille didn't bulge or try to join the other team members. She stood there at the spot where Sigewuf had let her go. If stares could kill, I knew she wanted hers to exterminate me without wasting a second. Her stare was burning; she was hurt. Skyla got the message and pulled her from the back to join the rest of the team. She hesitated for a few minutes and later joined the others behind. Women were A L O T. “Everyone head back to the mansion. Our work here tonight is done,” I told the team, but my gaze was on Sigewuf. I waited for everyone to leave, then I stepped closer until we could both feel each other's breath. I had so much to say to him. All the rage I had felt over the years, the hurt—I felt them deflecting as I s

  • Fated To The Rogue Alpha:Awakening Of The Rejected Tribrid    The Remeet

Vikron's POV We're going hunting tonight,” I announced after the pack meeting with the pack leaders, hunters, and warriors. Skylanders pack was a home for everyone. A place where everyone was important and added value. They knew they always went hunting, but the announcement was made because I was going to join them. It had already been weeks since I joined my pack hunters during a hunt. Since the night after we found Camille, Skyla had dedicated her time to taking her hunting along with her team, which was my team. I had avoided any physical meetings with Camille to prevent rumors in the pack. She acted brave and strong like a loner, but I had seen her many times just staring at me. I wasn't interested in anything emotional or physical, especially not with her. But tonight felt different. The need to hunt was like an urgency. It felt like a pull—a drug I needed to taste again. The pack members at the meeting were cheering as I nodded and made my way toward the study. “I'm happ

  • Fated To The Rogue Alpha:Awakening Of The Rejected Tribrid    The Meeting

Every district had cities. Cities were always crowded, always busy and bustling with activities. City life was crazy. I wondered how these humans ever survived. I sighed, adjusting the watch on my wrist. City life was crazy because humans were crazy. And living loud was their absolute normal, especially if you were in Vernice. The car drove past 6 9. A club three streets away from Ady's Creme Laude. Speakers blaring with nonsense these humans called songs. Werewolves would never be able to survive here. When I said werewolves, I meant millennials and not these rotten-spoiled, human attention-seeking, new generation breeds of werewolves. They even preferred going to schools mixed with humans. Even breeding sets of half-witted things that weren't full blood werewolves. I shook my head. Some things were repulsive to even think of. Vernice was a large city in the North. In fact, the biggest city in the North. The drive to Vernice was just three hours, but those three hours felt lik
