Who's your favorite amongst the trio?
"Krystal, please check the door. I think Rosa is here already." I shouted from my room when I heard the doorbell ring. "Don't worry girls, I've got it." Dad answered and I heard the door open to Rosa squealing."Whoa! Oh my gosh! You look ravishing, Mr Ethan." Rosa sang. "Good evening.""Good evening, Rosa." Dad's voice came. "You're not bad yourself. How are you doing these days?""I'm good. And you?" "Fine, I guess. How about your parents?" Ethan asked, offering her a cup of coffee."Living in their world but overall they are fine. Thanks for the coffee." She smiled. "You're welcome." He replied. "Where are the girls though?""They are in their room, expecting you.""Okay. I'll let you be then." She answered, ascending the stairs towards the room. "See you later."Ethan gave a nod as he watched her hop her way through the stairs."Hello, girls!! She greeted smiling. "I come bearing gifts. Now, who's ready for them?" She grinned and raised the bags she brought.Krystal turned and
We continued rating guys until we got tired and decided to take a break by watching different funny dance moves on the dance floor."Rosa, how's Harry?" Krystal asked offhandedly."Oh," she shrugged. "He's somewhere living his life." She answered nonchalantly, staring intensely at the people on the dance floor.I furrowed my brows and turned my gaze to her. "Why that tone, is everything okay?" Krystal frowned. "Did he do anything funny?" She asked, concern written all over her face."Everything is fine," she closed her eyes and inhaled sharply. "It's just that I feel like ending the relationship. I'm no longer interested in it and he's not helping matters." She said, flickering her eyes open."How?" I asked."He is always nagging, constantly complaining even about little things. At times, I feel like he has other flings, that I don't mind in as much as I don't see them.""Are you sure you don't mind?" I peered at her through the glass I was holding. She pursed her lips and frowned. "I
Ian's POVAfter three hours of rest, I finally got out of my bed. Taking a quick shower, I threw on some random shirt I found in the dresser, took my reading glass from the bed stand, put them on and eventually climbed back into my bed where I promptly started to work on a pending project. Once I had finished that, I decided to check my messages. That I was doing when my phone rang."Hello." I answered."Good evening." Came her very professional voice."Hey Erika, good evening. What's up?!" I stood up from the bed and walked into the wardrobe, remembering that I had a meeting with the guys later in the day."I'm fine." She answered. "Just wanted to check on you. How was your trip?""It was fine and exhausting." I said, trying to sort out what to wear for the evening."Oh, but you're already used to that. Did you sleep well?""No. I could barely get any sleep. I was just restless.""Oops, sorry. Did you meet her?""Who?""Your house manager.""Is she supposed to work on weekends?" I fl
We got to our destination quite late due to the heavy traffic that hit the streets. The place was nice, it gave off a very wild vibe. At the time we arrived, people were still trooping in and out of the club and from my observations, the club had a good security system that could sniff out unsuspecting paparazzi, it also had a beautiful interior with aesthetic paintings and lighting. Little wonder, the club was a place of choice for most celebrities."Ian, don't you think we're making quite a scene." Richard smiled and rolled his shoulders when we got into the club enjoying the attention he was getting."With complete backlight." I answered, staring at the scene before me. People walked up and down like they owned the place, others dancing on the dance floor with drinks in hand."And a good sound effect with drum rolls. That should make mhmn..... A glorious entry." Adrian laughed, placing his hands in his pocket."Glorious entry indeed." Richard raised an eyebrow and smiled."While I
I felt someone tap me lightly on the shoulder and then came the whisper. "Wake up."There was only one person in this house that would wake you up from slumber in an irritatingly enticing way and that person was Dad."Kiara come on, wake up." He said, still tapping me. I frowned and turned only to wake the drummers in my head, causing me to wince in pain."I know you're awake." He said. I felt him move across the room and I was glad to think he had given up trying to get me out of bed. It wasn't until I felt the sharp rays of sunlight hitting my eyelids did I know he was serious."What the heck, Dad." I muttered, trying to get my eyes to adjust to the light."Language, Missy." He walked back to me and sat on the bed. "Good morning, baby." He smiled, handing me a bottle of aspirin and a glass of water."Argh." I blinked, massaging my head. "How are you feeling?"I frowned. "Dad, are you seriously asking me that?" He shrugged, smiling. "If you must know then I'll tell you that waking
We heard the shuffling of feet and next came the voice –Krystal's to be precise. "Is that pepperoni sauce, I perceive?" Her voice rang from the living room."Oh, no." I face-palmed myself and dad laughed."Why that face?" He smiled."I'm not ready for what is coming Dad, I'm so not ready." I grimaced."Krystal, you are right about what your nose perceived." Rosa said, entering the kitchen area. "Good morning." She yawned and pushed her hair back."Good morning. Slept well?" Dad asked and walked over to the cooker."Yeah, it was splendid." She stretched. "And about you?""Pretty much okay." He shook his head. "Hold it, are we hosting some kind of a party?" Krystal asked strolling over to the island where I was seated.I rolled my eyes. "Well, good morning to you." She turned, looked at me and gave me a closed-lip smile. "We are hosting the prime minister.""Oh really!!" She exclaimed with a fake gasp."Don't be dramatic." I said and stood up from my seat."Seriously, are we hosting an
I and Rosa got in the car and drove off after setting the location on the GPS. So far, the drive was calm and quiet until Rosa started giggling to the point where it became annoying. "Hey, what's up with you?" I glanced at her and then back at the road."I'm sorry." Rosa laughed. "It's just this guy I met recently." She mumbled."And who is he?" I asked as I made a successful turnout of our street. She inhaled, smiling. "Max McNamara." She stopped at the look I gave her. "Don't ask me, how I knew his surname. He's a computer guru and also a big-shot photographer. He seems so nice and very funny. He's a master's student and he works with....."My eyes widen at all the information she had on him. "Wait, how the heck did you know all this?" I interrupted. She smiled. "Some he told me, others I found out myself." She smirked in satisfaction. I shook my head and laughed. "Girl, you're smitten by him. Is he handsome?" I asked and turned on the indicator light as I drove into the parking l
Monday came with its usual hustling and bustling and I swear it was hell confusing and tiring. I'd like for the weekend to continue with the fun and laughter but not all of us had a two weeks break or a failed class trip, some of us had work to do and that's where I and Rosa came in. I was never a fan of Mondays particularly when I had a job to do. "Okay dad, I've got to go." I raced past him to the door. He popped his head out of the kitchen and gave me a thumbs up mouthing 'good luck' before disappearing back into the kitchen. I smiled and proceeded to open the door but paused when I heard a squeal."Won't you wait for me?" Rosa's voice rang from the top of the stairs. I turned and saw her struggling to pull her hair into a neat ponytail with Krystal behind her smiling, she was still in her pyjamas. She caught me staring and waved at me. "Hey sister, hope you had a nice night?" She smiled, descending the stairs with Rosa. "You're going to work quite early, don't you think?" She s
