Two hours and a couple of minutes later, we found ourselves at Richard's holiday home in Manchester after much deliberation. It was a much better idea than shuttling between London and Manchester and staying at the hotel with less privacy according to Ian. The late afternoon found myself sitting in an abandoned warehouse watching as the photographer interacted with the magazine editor in charge of today's shoot. They were probably discussing making a few changes to the concept of the shoot while I sat here wondering how I went from being the house manager of an actor to being the road manager of the same actor in a span of three weeks.
