Chad stiffened when he heard the woman. He didn't let go of my hand, but he avoided my eyes. My heart skipped. He told me he didn't have a mate. Who could this woman be? The woman's eyes jumped from me to Chad in bewilderment. Her fake smile looked like it was hurting her physically.
