Chapter 53

We have finished eating our dinner. During our meal, Bianca behaved spoiled to my boss. She touched him; she joked to him and reminded him of their memories when they were in college. She didn't talk to me at all. She ignored me completely, as if I didn't exist.

I could see the confusion in my boss' eyes seeing her act like that. He tried to ignore her by focusing on eating his food when he realized that she was trying to make me angry and jealous.

“Vincent... I want to dance with you,” she said in a soft voice, holding his arm.

I looked at them with my sad eyes. I tried my best to hide and hold back the anger and jealousy that was burning inside of me. This evil witch is setting a trap for me and I must not fall into her trap.

My boss looked me in the eye. He knows how I feel. He then turned his gaze to her. “I'm so sorry. Angela and I have to go now,” he said.

My boss smiled tenderly when he saw the happy smile on my face. I feel so relieved
