“You alone know what's in your heart. Are you comfortable around her, or are you just feeling sorry for her?"

Atma looked at Bara, confused. "Pity?"

Bara laughed crisply, then he grabbed the black coffee, which was still emitting smoke, and sipped it slowly. “It's a pity because she gave birth without her husband present. Possible."

"What is certain is that my heart is dead of love!" Atma said firmly, and Bara just shrugged his shoulders indifferently.

Seconds turned into minutes, and minutes turned into hours. This morning, Clarita was bothered by her two babies crying at the same time. Clarita tried to take a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. She did it repeatedly, trying to neutralize her thoughts. Clarita always does this when she is confused.

"What's wrong, Cla?" asked the landlady, who had been standing in the doorway of her boarding house for some time.

"Ah, ma'am, sorry if I disturb the other boarding house residents. I also don't know why Yara and Yandra are crying like this.
