54: Unreciprocated Mutual

The blonde was in deep concentration, processing the documents that started to stack because of her absence for a week. She realized how taking leaves at work were not always fun because the happiness would only stay for a specific duration, and she would later be in hell that’s hotter than before once she goes back to work.

Olivia did not even notice someone entering her office because of how busy she was with her eyes glue on the computer screen, switching from the device and to the documents that were on her desk. She nearly jumped from her seat in surprise when the person knocked on her desk, making her finally look up and acknowledge the person’s presence.

“Oh, Theo,” Olivia uttered as she leaned back to her seat and took her cup of coffee to take a sip on it. It was a good thing that the latter came by to her office because that would mean that she had to stop working for a while, which means that that would be her only break. “What’s up?”

“Why didn’t you tell me that you had a
