In the past, whenever Adrian said things like that, Sienna's heart would've leaped. But now, she finally understood that maybe he just wanted to catch a distant glimpse of Winona.

"Rian, you know perfectly well that our families… Could you please not put me in a tough spot? I'm scared," Sienna said.

Winona had come to Wharf Bay on business before. If Adrian had asked her out then, Sienna would've found a way to meet him without hesitation.
