“Let me get this straight. You’ll give me five thousand dollars to pose for some pictures and all because you like my wavy hair and weird eyes?” Mia asked the two hot guys in front of her.
“No,” one of them said. “Not weird eyes. Lovely. I can’t even tell what color they are.”
“They’re gray and not that enchanting.”
“They’re not just gray,” he countered. “There’s some gold and a few hints of blue.”
Oh brother. Where is this going?
She shielded her eyes to get a better look at the gorgeous pair standing in front of her.
The sun battered down on her caramel skin and made the beach so bright it was almost blinding when she stared in certain areas. According to the news, this was the hottest Miami summer of the year.
Temperatures had remained in the hundreds. Regardless, she had gathered all eight of her books, slung them in her crappy car, and drove down to South Beach.
As anyone would assume the place was packed with women dressed in the tiniest bikinis and men draped in muscle. Still not taking a hint that South Beach wasn’t a great study zone, she propped herself under a rented umbrella with a blanket.
A pitcher of her special smoothie sat on her right. In her lap rested an opened book that would prepare her for her first semester of law school in the fall.
But then, two gods with vanilla skin wrapped in muscle and oozing sexual yumminess stood directly in front of her, and now she no longer wanted to read six hundred pages on the history of American Law. Now she yearned to slip her fingers against their skin and find out if they were as solid as they seemed.
“Just a picture?” She tossed them a skeptical glance.
“You’re a unique beauty,” The blond one said. “What are you mixed with?”
“How do you know I’m mixed?”
“Because there isn’t one race all over this world that owns your type of beauty. We all have a sexy quality and one we don’t prefer. Every race has some DNA strain that they’d love to get rid of and trade with another. But your face, eyes, hair, and skin color are exquisite, almost this perfect blend of everything.”
She gulped. “Um. . .I’m not interested in having my picture taken, and my mother was Puerto Rican and my dad Irish so let’s calm down with all the compliments. It’s really not that special of a blend.”
“Please, it won’t take longer than a half hour at the most.” He tapped his finger on the end of a camera that held more buttons and switches than I’d seen.
Clearly the man saw picture taking as way more serious than the average person, but that didn’t mean she would star in his images, especially since she didn’t know him.
The other guy with the brown wavy hair never said anything, but he didn’t have to. It might have stopped the sex radiating from him.
Dear God, why was she being tempted today? She was trying to be a good girl this summer.
And these men were distractions. They were eye candy, chiseled physiques in those small European cut bathing suits, full lips, and high, yet masculine cheekbones.
However, they did have their differences. Where one’s hair was long and blond, the others laid low in brown waves. Where the blond stared back at me with the bluest eyes, the other gazed with sparkling green ones.
“Just give us an hour of your time. Nothing else,” the blonde said.
One can only dream. Get rid of them and get back to work.
“I don’t know if you haven’t noticed, but I’m pretty busy.” She gestured to all of the books scattered around her legs as well as the small pile near her feet.
“What are you reading?” The blond bent over and grabbed the exact one she held.
“Excuse me?” She reached for it surprised by his bold act.
He kept it away from her and studied the cover. “This has to be boring.”
“It is.” She rolled her eyes. “Give me my book back.”
“If it’s boring and you know this, then why are you reading it?” He handed it back to her.
“Because the University of Miami law school suggested these books for their first year students.” She shrugged. “I like to be prepared before a semester starts.”
“It’s summertime.
“I’m aware of that.”
“You need to be saved.”
She sighed. “Perhaps, I need to be saved from you, not by you.”
“No way. That would just be wrong.” He chuckled.
“Let me introduce you to your saviors, this is my brother Jaxon next to me and my name’s Rhett.” He extended his hand for her to shake.
She didn’t take it. “I really need to get back to reading. Thanks guys, but I’m not interested.”
Mr. Brown waves and green eyes prowled her way and sat down right next to her. His earthy cologne filled the air in just a perfect way.
Again, he continued to not speak, yet his bathing suit that formed around his thick thighs and impressive. . .crotch said more than his lips could have.
_"Concentrate"._ She scolded herself in her head.
This was what Dad said would happen. She would go early to Miami, get caught up in parties all summer, and be unprepared for school.
“Nice to meet both of you, but I’m busy. You two are good-looking and should have no problem convincing another lucky woman to spend an hour, taking pictures with you.” She opened the book back to the page she was on.
“But I am not that lucky woman. I am the unlucky one that has a shitload of pages to read. So have a good day. See you later. Bye. Peace. Adios. A riva derchi and all that good stuff.”
The guys exchanged glances and laughed.
Rhett sat down on her other side and raked his fingers through those blonde strands.
“How do you think you’re going to get rid of us?”
She tensed and wasn’t sure she enjoyed being between them after he made a comment like that.
“Well, there’s a number of ways I can get rid of you. Have you ever experienced a lightening pain to your balls? My brother told me it hurt when I used my taser on him.”
Rhett shielded his groin with his hands. “Why would you do that to your poor brother?”
“Because he was doing something and I asked him to stop, but he wouldn’t.”
“And you just happened to have a taser around?”
“I like to keep weapons around me just in case the male species is readying itself to attack or aggravate me.”
Rhett chuckled. “I like you more and more.”
“Nice meeting you, Rhett, but your time is up. The point of my taser story is that if I’ll burn my own brother’s testicles, then I’ll have no problem searing yours.” She returned to reading.
He raised his hand in the air, got up, and stood.
“What do you think, brother? We’ve been searching all day. Either I didn’t like the woman or you didn’t. We both agree on this one, but she’s more violent than I’m used to—”
More violent than he’s used too? Alrighty.
She waved her hand. “Excuse me. Feel free to finish this conversation somewhere else.”
Rhett ignored me. “Maybe it’s a no-go for this part of the beach. Let’s go up north.”
Whatever. Just leave.
She was tired of these hot strangers disrupting her day until the other guy spoke startling her.
Rhett “Hmm. You’ll have to earn a moan from me, sweet Jax. You’re not the first rich guy I’ve met and you won’t be the last.” She sat back in her seat. “I’ve been one of the women that you’ve hurt. I’ve been right in their shoes years ago. I can tell you right now that if you can get me in your bed, then you’ve truly won.”“You think that’s a big if?” Jax asked.“Yes. The biggest problem with the two of you is that you both represent everything that disgusts me.”The waiter arrived. No one looked up at him, so he silently backed up and walked away.“Explain,” Jax said.“I hate guys with money. Let’s face it, males tend to be born assholes all on their own, but to give them a fat bank account is to add to their idiocy.”“You hate men?” Rhett asked her.“That’s just one of my many redeeming qualities.”They had ended up courting a man-hater. Awesome.“What are the other things that you hate about us?” Jax asked. She held her index finger up. “You both are over confidant, emotionally ab
RhettThe way Jaxon's name curled off her tongue made Rhett envious. He wasn’t too big of a man to admit it. In an effort to get the spotlight back on him, he said, “What we do is pick a woman that we both find attractive and see who can get her to fall in love with us first.”“I’m going to need another glass of wine,” Jaxon muttered as he placed his empty one down. Rhett chuckled to himself. What would he do now? He had to be himself, that very fact would shove him over the edge. He wasn’t sure if Jaxon even knew who he was.Jaxon might as well just give him the two hundred thousand dollars now and save them both some time.“Okay, so one of you get the poor woman to fall in love?” She twisted her lips to the side. “How do you even define the win? How do you know she’s in love with you or your brother?”“By the person she decides to have sex with.”She laughed. It came out bubbly and rose high over the table. She must’ve realized it because she covered her mouth with both of her hand
Rhett He had trapped Jax into the deal with the lure of a sexy woman and the excitement of their sport. He knew his brother better than he knew himself. Jaxon worried about his gambling problem, but never considered his own addiction. He loved females too much, and got them way too easily, so easy, it bored him. There was never any competition, unless he was around. That’s when things changed for Jax, and became uncertain. He had insecurities. Rhett could write a book on them.Like most guys with their heavy wallets, they never knew if they caught women based on their wits, style, and looks or simply because of their ability to pay the bills. For rich men who owned it all, it was the little things that made them hungry. One of the biggest things a millionaire asked in his head as a sexy beauty wrapped her mouth around his erection was if she did it because she craved him, or was she doing it for the money. Rhett never had to ask that question. The answer never changed. All women did
Jaxon His dick came to life in his pants. Hard and solid and so ready to be inside of her, he had to grip the edge of the table to keep him there. It was so unlike him, to crave without even a sample of her flesh. To yearn, without an endearing reason for why.She hadn’t even sat down next to him and he was already impatient to be inside of her.Rhett stopped whatever he was saying and glanced over his shoulder. “No wonder you’re sitting there your mouth open and drooling.”He closed his mouth. “I wasn’t drooling.”“No saliva spilled out, but it was pretty close.” Rhett never turned back to me. His gaze also remained on her, probably following the outline of those amazing legs. She must’ve run every day. There was muscle within the luscious curve of feminine fat on her hips and perfect bottom. Why women always wanted to lose so much weight, he didn’t know. Some fat was necessary during sex. It allowed men like him to squeeze and suck.He was going to have so much fun with her. Alth
