Games turned

After having a blast with Rueben last night, I decided to go for yoga class to realese stress. At the Ladies yoga restroom I met Isabella . An old friend of mine from college.

I was surprised at first and not sure if I was seeing stuff right . Then I went closer to her side and whispered lightly almost like a question.

“Isabella?..“

She turned slowly and the moment she saw me , her eyes lighted up with delightfulness and screamed,

“Lovia!…”

We both laughed and hugged each other joyfully. Isabella was almost like a sister to me, but we got separated when she moved abroad after college . We asked each other what was going on in our lives and spent the whole day at the yoga class talking about ourselves.

That's when I found out something more delicious. Isabella is now the fiance of the great Alexander McQueen, one of the leaders of the YBA billionaire circle.

“ Wow, the universe never seize to amaze me..“ I thought, he brought just a perfect pawn that can lead me into that circle.

“Sorry but not sorry Isabella , but I have to destroy everybody and not even you can stop me.“ I said silently to myself.

Right after my yoga class , I got a text from Rueben saying…

“Hi baby girl,I was wondering if you're free for tonight …I want us to meet at the arcade.“

I looked at the text and smiled at it , how nice of him …now he wants us to play games?..well there's a saying ,

“All work and no play makes Jake a dull boy.“

So I'll take this offer tonight just because I want to play too.

I drove back home to dress up and get ready for my acarde date. Soon it was 6pm and almost night fall..I got a text from him again.

“Hello darling, I'm already here waiting for you…venue; Royal kings Arcade at st George's street.“

I chuckled and placed my phone in my purse , I was already dressed in my baggy jeans pants and crop top showing my diamond waist chain and rose tattoo on my waist. 

I put on some oversized shades and set off to see my lover boy . I got there at exactly 6:50pm. 

The moment I stepped through the doors, a blast of neon light and sound hit me like a wave. The air buzzed with excitement, thick with the scent of buttered popcorn, soda fizz, and that faint electric tinge of well-worn machines.

The clatter of buttons and the rapid-fire taps of joysticks blended into a chaotic symphony beneath the soundtrack of games shouting in digital voices.

To my left, a group of kids crowded around a classic racing game, the seats vibrating as cars roared through virtual tracks.

I scanned through the people trying to find Rueben. Then finally I found him seated on one of the benches around, dressed in blue jeans pants and a see through shirt. I walked straight towards him . The moment he saw me , his lips curved into a smile..

“Lovia..“ he whispered, and hugged me.

“So happy you came ..“ he added , hands now on my waist .

“Well, why wouldn't I ?…infact I figured I needed this escape. So tell me , which game are we playing tonight.“ I replied , with a small smirk tugging at the corner of my lips.

“Well, any one of them here but just so you know…every game we play here tonight .. I'll make sure I beat you in all of them .“ He responded, already walking towards a basket ball game.

“Bet..“ I whispered, bitting back a naughty smile.

I then joined him Infront of the basketball game. We played with excitement but to me, I played like a challenged team member making sure I win to prove him wrong.

Well, he won this part…because I'm actually not that good in basketball . He began teasing me after just a small win.

We then went to where the racing car was, I raced with him and guess who won this time around?…

Him..again. well maybe today isn't just my lucky day because I remember wining this kinda race 5 times in a role when I was just 10.

“Told ya , I will make sure you go home as a damn loser tonight Lovia ..“ he teased, 

“Oh.. please,” I rolled my eyes, 

“The day hasn't ended yet , keep getting ahead of yourself ..the end will take you by surprise.“ I replied , walking towards a snacks shop .

He hurried to catch up with me, I ordered a bottle of coke and some chips. Then he just got some spicy chips and a bottle of water.

We sat at an eating area Infront of the shop and ate whilst resting as well. I then noticed something uncanny about Rueben , he kept checking his phone.

“Why do you keep checking your phone..“ I asked him , mid chewing my chips.

“Well, I ordered a surprise for you …am just waiting for it to come .“ He replied with a grin.

“Hmm, a surprise huh?.. interesting.“ I uttered, whilst staring at him from the corner of my eyes.

He chuckled and shook his head slowly whilst smiling. 

After having our little meal we got back to our gaming, this time was a video game. I sat beside him as we competite.

He won this round too, well I got a little pissed because why wouldn't he let me win just a little . I demanded a second round, and got beaten as well.

Now it wasn't fun anymore to me , then he suggested we go get some plushie doll from one of the machines.

Oh goodness, that also tested my patience in soo many ways and finally he got one and gave it to me just to cheer me up .

Finally , the time was here for us to go on to the adult section of the game ..but before that , Rueben took me to a room nearby and told me to wait there…

I didn't like how the room felt like , it was a little dark and the air in it felt abit cold. I could hear the sounds of people yelling outside but somehow felt like it was happening inside.

Then he finally came back , not alone but with someone unexpected.

The moment I saw this person my eyes popped up widely, with my eyebrows raised in awe.

“Lucas?...“ I whispered, walking towards him.

“Surprised?…aren't you ? ..after recording our sex scene and putting it on the internet.“ Lucas replied , his tone higher and almost like an echoe.

I went quiet for a second , trying to find a way to reply him. Then I finally found one , why not gaslight the hell outta him.

“What do you mean by that?..“ I questioned, voice barely above a whisper with a concerned face.

“ Look at her , playing clueless….“ He murmured to Rueben who stood there staring through my soul.

Oh, so this is why he called me here?…he was into this …this whole time?..I shouldn't have underestimated that bastard.

“ I don't know what you're talking about Lucas, all that I know was that we both had our moment and went home…never knew , somebody was recording and if anything ..I have the right to blame you too.“ I uttered to him , trying to make my way out .

“Wow, we should give you an award Lovia…you are such a bitch , that's why Alejandro left you …a psycho bitch.“ He replied , tone harsher than before .

“I feel like slapping the hell outta you now..“ he added, raising his hand in the air. I flinched before I could realize.

“Don't even think about it ..“ Reuben finally said , 

“ You can take out your anger on her in so many ways but you're not allowed to put your hands on a woman I have had an encounter with.“ he added eyes never leaving mine.

I avoided eye contact with him , then turned to face Lucas Motilfaco. 

“So what now?…what if I did , huh ..what will you do then ?…kill me ?..“ I yelled at him.

“Look at me …what do I look like?..“ he replied with a question.

“Like a damn creep.“ I responded, making Rueben giggle abit .

“Killing you will be a waste of time Lovia because you're already dead inside .. Alejandro has given you enough punishment already and I'm glad and proud of him . Suit yourself …this sex tape is nothing enough to bring me or Alejandro down …keep trying.“ He added and left .

I didn't reply, because I have none,the memories of I and Alejandro's last night together hit me like a strike. My voice pleading, trembling and screaming for him as he walk through my gate after telling me it's over .

My eyes watered abit with tears but I pressed it off , stoping it from falling …then I turned to face Rueben,

“Wonders shall never end indeed …” I uttered, picked up my purse from the floor and walk through the door.

“No, no ..Lovia listen..“ he said, but I wasn't ready to listen any of his excuses. All I know is , he just made himself a second target on my list after Alejandro, for raising the beast inside me.

He followed trying to catch up with me whilst screaming my name .
