LOGINAlpha Brentwood had heard stories of wolves hiding their pup in the human world due to crimes they've committed in the pack. Their pups sometimes grow up not knowing what they are, and the wolf inside of them becomes dormant, unable to connect and become one with them.
He prepares to find out now if his fated mate truly didn't have a clue what she was—a wolf shifter, like him—for if she doesn't, then he clearly understands why she wouldn't recognize him as her fated mate.
He'd have to help her become one with her wolf by teaching her what she is once he finds out. Then she would know that they are destined to be together.
"I need this all with gas," Alpha Brentwood said, giving her his money.
As she took it from him and started to program the amount of gas he should dispense from pump number 7, Alpha Brentwood asked, "Are you from around here?"
Billburry was known by many wolfshifters as a human land, so his kind never bothered to stop here—that is, until his gas ran out and he had to.
If his fated mate says yes, then Alpha Brentwood will know that she truly doesn't know what she is, for she doesn't belong here. No wolves do.
"Why do you ask?" she asked instead of answering his question.
Her voice was so soft and sweet that Alpha Brentwood thought of how pleasantly she'd say his name. He wished she could hear her say his name now.
"I'm looking for an apartment around here to rent," he responded smoothly, using his deep voice that is so powerful and attractive it could make every female go weak.
And of course he'd need a place to stay. There is no way he would leave his fated mate after finding her, especially since she seems clueless that she is a wolf shifter like him; he'd have to stay close to help her know what she is, or better—another idea came to mind. He could kidnap her and take her to his pack, where he could teach her what she is.
As Alpha Brentwood prepares to snatch her tiny body from over the counter and ride with her back to his pack—that is, of course, after he'd filled up the tank—"Yes, I'm from around here. There's a large grey building less than thirty minutes away; you can check for an apartment," she spoke.
She then began to write a number on the back of a receipt that a customer hadn't bothered to take. "This is the contact of the landlady who owns the building." She handed it to him.
Alpha Brentwood didn't need the landlady's contact anymore; he needed one thing, and that was her.
As he again prepared to knock her over the head unconscious, but not too severely to give her a headache when she got up, a buzz-cut-haired male came in and stood at his side.
"Giving out your number to men while you're at work?" The buzz-cut-haired male said to his fated mate, having a straight face.
Alpha Brentwood heard his fated mate's heart start beating quickly in the presence of this unknown male at his side. He could also now smell how extremely terrified she was of him.
At that moment, Alpha Brentwood didn't care who this man was to his fated mate—he had been waiting for her since he was 18 and had now finally found her after turning 42.
All he could think was that his fated mate felt unsafe around this unknown man, and he must play his part to protect her; that was his responsibility as her fated mate. To keep her safe.
"You two were taking a long time to join us," said Alpha Lionel as Benson and Daphne walked into the dining room. The dining room was a vast, white space with a long table and numerous chairs. The walls held expensive paintings, and above the ceiling was a gleaming crystal chandelier."I'm sure that is good news to you, Father," responded Benson as he helped Daphne into a chair and shortly sat in a seat across from her.Alpha Lionel laughs."What were you two wolves talking about? That's why you both took so long to join us?" asked Daphne's mother, curiously, with a smile."About us already being fond of each other," responded Daphne, having a brighter smile.A plate of food was shared out for both her and then Benson as she spoke."Good then," said Alpha Hansel joyfully."Then the wedding can be within a month.""Why so long?" said Luna Cora."We can make your son and my daughter marry in a week with the best wedding planner.""The sooner they're married. Your son can produce an heir

He had lost his once well-built body after becoming very lazy, Benson had heard. His Luna, as usual, was very beautiful, and Benson could see that she was an eye-catcher in her younger days. Not that he cares about a she-wolf beauty, but her heart—still, he hopes that his daughter is as lovely as her.Their daughter, Daphne, was in the second carriage. She was coming out of the carriage without a footman helping her down from the high carriage,

Isabella walks out of the bathroom, wearing the red lingerie. The lingerie was so revealing, she felt nude. The male guarding the door stares lustfully at her. The lady noticed him doing so and growled at him to stop, but he didn't and just kept staring at Isabella as if he was under some trance. The lady marched to him."If the alpha sees you staring at his luna so lustfully, you'll lose your eyes." The lady grabs him by his collar, forcing him to stop looking at her.She then opened the door, shoving him out.She sauntered over to Isabella, still in tears, wiping them away."The rogue alpha will be envied for having you as his Luna," said the lady."I'm not his," Isabella again cries."You will when he marks you," said the lady heading to the door. She opens it to leave, and as she does, Isabella's heart beats heavily within her chest, and every hair stands straight as an arrow along her skin to see the rugged male that had kidnapped her from the hospital now at the door. She k
Instantly, Isabella's eyes went to the door to hear someone walk into the hospital room where she lay.The male was attired in full black and wore a white coat like any doctor. He was tall and robust and looked more like a wolf built chiefly for the battlefield rather than a doctor with his long, wavy, blond hair.A dangerous look within his dark green eyes as he walked over to her bed gave Isabell a bad feeling that he wasn't a doctor.Isabella turned to the right side of her bed to press the buzzer her fated mate's mother had left for her to call her if she needed her. Just as she was about to press the buzzer, a large and strong arm stopped her hand.Terrifyingly, she turned to look at the man the moment his hand held her to meet his eyes, which were now glowing in their bronze wolf form.He smiled devilishly at her, showing his sharp wolf teeth. Isabella felt an acute, brief pain in her left ankle. Her gaze went from the unknown wolf to see that he was injecting something into he
Isabella learnt that the Beta's mother was a doctor. "What has happened to her?" Sangrine rushed over to his son the moment she saw him come into the emergency room, holding his young fated mate in his arms bridal style. "I don't know; she just started feeling pain below her belly," said Beta Tyde, extremely worried about his fated mate. His mother instructed him to take her to the third room. She followed him as he did. As the Beta laid his fated mate down, at once she began to examine her. The sight of his fated mate, covered in sweat, growling in pain, and there was nothing he could do but stand there and watch. Tears sprang into his eyes, and he felt like he was going to lose his mind, not being able to do anything at all. His mother, seeing how overwrought he was, said, "Go outside for some fresh air. I'll take care of her," she told him. He obeyed her, going to the waiting room. He paced its hallway, walking backward and forward, unable to stay steady. He stopped after
