Sarah kissed him, and that changed everything for her in her mind. She had never taken control like that before, and for some reason, she was completely comfortable with this man she had known as a student and then was reintroduced when he was nameless and faceless. Lying in bed with this man next to her as they explored each other slightly was something she hadn’t realized she needed.
He propped himself up on his arm and just looked down at her as he smiled slightly. His hand cupping her face gently as his thumb ran over her cheek. “This right here is worth the wait.” He said softly. “Though I want to do more than just this, we should wait a bit.”

Her phone rang. It was an outside call but had somehow not gone through the switchboard. The ring was different so she could tell if it was coming from in the building or out of it.
